Monks of the thousand steps find tranquility in motion, and hone their bodies to reflect this. Most monasteries that follow this tradition prefer a nomadic lifestyle, never staying in one place long.

 

Awaiting Momentum

Beginning at 3rd level when choosing this tradition, your movement is unaffected by non-magical difficult terrain.

Additionally, you add your wisdom modifier to your initiative rolls.

Power in Motion

 

At 6th level, you have achieved a meditative state while sprinting through a battlefield. The faster and further you move, the greater the effects.

20ft After moving 20ft, you push the limits of sound. You gain resistance to thunder damage.

 40ft After moving 40ft, the air around you begins to swirl like a gale. You have half cover until the start of your next turn.

60ft After moving 60ft, your attacks grow deadlier as the momentum behind them threatens to break the sound barrier. You can add your wisdom modifier (minimum +1) to damage rolls as thunder damage until the start of your next turn.

To gain these benefits, you can’t change direction as you move more than once every 15ft and you can’t turn more than 90 degrees in a single turn. 

Movement’s Echo

Starting at 11th level, you never truly stop moving, and in combat this allows you to flow with the rapid movement of foes. Once per turn, you can spend 1ki point to gain a second reaction

Thunderous Stop

Your mastery of movement has taught you how to transfer your momentum into a deadly blast of thunderous energy.

When you move atleast 40ft in straight line, as an action you can expend 3ki points to send out concussive force in a  30ft cone. A creature takes 8d8 thunder damage and is pushed 20ft away from you on a failed save, or half as much damage  and is not pushed on a successful one.

In addition, unsecured objects that are completely within the area of effect are automatically pushed 10 feet away from you by the attack, and the attack emits a thunderous boom audible out to 300 feet.
