Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Many a creature dwells within shadow and darkness that love to entice the foolish mortals to accept pacts. While Hexblade's often stem from the Shadowfell, their powers do not reflect the true power of the Negative Energy Plane. Lingering Shadow Patrons on the other hand embrace the powers of darkness and bestow them upon their loyal followers.

Eldritch Invocations

Blinding Blast Prerequisite- eldritch blast cantrip: Your eldritch blasts now carry accursed darkness or blinding light with them. The first time you hit a creature with an eldritch blast each turn you can force them to make a Constitution saving throw versus your spell save DC. On a fail the creature is blinded until the end of their next turn.

Festering Darkness: Prerequisite- 7th level: Your necrotic attacks cause the negative energy to cling to the victim, further draining their vitality. After you deal necrotic damage with a spell, the creature(s) become cursed for 1 minute. Whenever a creature cursed in this way makes an attack roll, ability check or saving throw you can use your Reaction to cause the necrosis to flair up thereby subtracting your Charisma modifier from the roll. Once you activate this ability the curse ends on the creature and it becomes immune to this feature for 24 hours.
