Bounty Hunter

Bounty hunters are accomplished trackers who offer their services and skills to all manner of folk in exchange for coin. Whether their bounty is a person, creature or object, a bounty hunter always delivers, securing their mark with an almost supernatural level of skill.

As a bounty hunter, your work has no doubt left you disillusioned with the world and jaded beyond belief, but your ruthlessness and cunning precedes you. Whether your mark is a lowly debtor owing the local merchant guild, a monster terrorizing nearby villages or a thieving murderer eluding the city guard, few evade your trained eyes and sharp instincts. Fewer still dare to try once your involvement is learned.

Tracker’s Skills

Beginning at 3rd level when you choose this archetype, you’ve become an expert at tracking your targets. You gain proficiency in the Wisdom (Survival) and Intelligence (Investigation) skills. You can double your proficiency bonus with these skills.

Predator’s Eye

Also at 3rd level, your eyes have been honed to spot weaknesses in your prey. As a bonus action, you can focus your sight on an enemy that you’ve hit with an attack at least once. You immediately learn the creature’s resistances, immunities and vulnerabilities. Additionally, you have advantage on the next attack you make against the creature.

You can use this ability once per short rest.

Impairing Strike

At 7th level, you’ve learnt where to strike your enemies to wear them down. Once per turn when you hit a creature with a melee or ranged attack, you can choose to halve their movement until the end of their next turn. If you score a critical hit and choose to use this feature, their speed is instead dropped to 0 until the end of their next turn.

Determined Hunter

At 11th level, no target can elude your grasp. After targeting a creature with your Predator’s Eye ability, you have advantage on saving throws made against the target’s spells and attacks for 1 minute, and cannot be frightened or charmed by them.

Hunter's Execution

At 15th level, you’ve become a ferocious hunter, and know how to deliver a swift death to your quarry. Whenever you make a weapon attack against a creature that has been targeted with your Predator’s Eye ability, you can choose to make the attack an automatic critical hit.

You can use this feature once per long rest.
