Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

The Blood Lords began as an order of 13 warriors known officially as the Etrama Knights but where more commonly referred to as the Blades Of Raskreia each chosen by the Raskreia, Serum Noblesse the strongest of all the Tepes, the race that as time went on would become the vampire race.

The Raskreia stood above every nobel clan leader and even the Tepes Lord himself the job of the Raskreia was to protect the balance in the world and if any of the Tepes threaten to upset the delicate balance of the world in any way, such as using their power to harm humans or enslave one of the many races, it is the Raskreia’s duty to destroy them. The Raskreia is therefore empowered to act as judge and executioner of any Tepes at any time that he deems fit.

In this regard the chosen warriors that Serum selected were to be treated as his aids and stand in, elite warriors whose skills with a blade and blood magic were unmatched.

Trained in combat from the age of 5 the knights were not discriminated by race or status if they could complete the trials and the Raskeria saw potential in them they may become one of his blades they held his role of judge and executioner for more minor matters and would be placed at the side of the clan heads as guards and confidantes as well as a line between the common world and the Raskreia himself.

Upon reaching the age of maturity at 15 an initiate knight would undergo a ritual of empowerment upon which they would drink a concoction made from the Raskreia’s blood granting them a section of his power in the form of blood curses and blood maladects and techniques taught by Serum himself.

However as time went on and the Tepes and Lupins began to fude and perverted versions of theses beings began to form in the guise of werewolves and vampires the Blades began to hunt down and slay these, among other monsters, in order to keep their people safe they expanded their ranks increasing in size and teachings diverting from their original purpose which caused the first great schism.

While some believed they should continue their role as protectors of their people whereas some believed they should use their power and skills to rule and overthrow the nobility as times changed and infighting continued between not only the knights but the Tepes themselves the knights splintered perverting the original teachings and schooling of the Raskreia where as some still to this day serve their duty to protect the innocent and keep the balance some, dubbing themselves hemomancer tried to rule and control with their control of the blood and those that stood before them dubbed themselves Blood Hunters.

These hunters keep up the tradition of training young men and women to hunt monsters and evil beings and to keep the balance in this world even if it means slaying their own kind.
