Base Class: Wizard
Restriction: Adept (Fire), Adept (Water), or Adept (Wind) Background only
Adepts known as Mages study the theory and history of spellcasting and increase their abilities through study and practice. As such, Earth Adepts don't make good mages, as they tend to be too instinctual.
Dark Mages study offensive spellcasting, learning to efficiently damage their enemies or weaken them with debilitating curses.

Allure of Darkness
At 6th level, the effects of your spells become more difficult to resist. When you cast a wizard spell of 1st level or higher that requires a saving throw, you can use your reaction to choose one creature affected by that spell. It has disadvantage on the required saving throw.
You can use this ability a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.
Force of Darkness
Beginning at 10th level, you can add your Intelligence modifier to one damage roll of any wizard spell you cast. If the damage is force damage, you can add twice your Intelligence modifier to one damage roll of the spell instead.
Shadow Walk
At 14th level, you gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness.
