Base Class: Monk

Located on the coast of the desert Lands, a well respected place of training, highly sought after for potential acolytes looking to train and become a monk of the sanctum.

There has been times when fully trained warrior monks have ventured out across nexus to find more Willing people who want to achieve peace of mind and mastering their own body.  

The monks here are taught to harness their will to control the ebb and flow of the battlefield.

Harness Will

Monks from the Sanctum of Will learn to harness their inner spirit, evoking extreme control over a broiling fountain of emotional unrest. Each disciple internalises a simple yet robust philosophy. You shall not dread the inevitable, for you helm your own fate, no force may reach the molten core of your soul.

At 3rd level, you can harness your willpower to erect a powerful Ki barrier. As a reaction, you focus on resisting all incoming attacks, granting you a bonus to AC (Equivalent to your Proficiency bonus) until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of time equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Iron Form

At 3rd Level, you can spend ten minutes to channel your will, reinforcing your body and strengthening your limbs. After doing so, you gain temporary hit points equal to your level + your Wisdom modifier. You can’t gain temporary hit points this way again until you finish a short or long rest.

Extinguish Doubt

Focused internal reflection enlightens you to progressively more nuanced philosophical contexts. To not dread the inevitable, is to accept the inevitable, you fear not the storm that twists within, internal emotion and external influence will shatter upon the iron ramparts of your self-control.

Starting at 6th level, you begin to harness your will autonomously, becoming as stone to all who would seek to subvert you. You have advantage on saving throws against effects that would cause you to become charmed, frightened, or knocked prone. In addition you gain resistance to psychic damage.

Enrage Adversary

Starting at 6th level, you understand that exercising greater control over the ebb and flow of battle is a path to greater control over yourself.

As a bonus action you can expose a creature within 30ft to the raging vortex within your heart, the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save the target loses the ability to distinguish friend from foe, regarding all creatures as enemies until the end of its next turn, on a successful save the target moves towards you and has advantage on the next attack it makes against you.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. While you have no uses available, you can spend 2 Ki points to use this feature again.

Disciplined Ferocity

Acceptance leads to understanding. Your opponent shall dread the inevitable, for your will is as iron forged to steel, tempered by discipline and honed to an imperceptible edge. You are the eye of the storm.

Starting at 11th Level, as a bonus action you can expend 3 Ki Points to manifest your will as a visible presence and ascend to a state of extreme physical control for 1 minute. For the duration; the damage type of your unarmed strikes change to force, hostile creatures who start their turn within 5ft of you must make a Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened of you until the end of your next turn, and once per turn you can spend a Ki point when making an unarmed strike against a Frightened creature to deal an additional roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier as force damage.

Additionally, you are immune to psychic damage as long as your will is made manifest.

Shatter Will

From emotion, inevitability was born. Your will has turned adamantine black, perfected control over perfect chaos, the force of your spirit shall rend the sky.

At 17th Level, unleash your pent up willpower in an earth shattering blast. As an action, you can spend 5 Ki points to ascend into a state of absolute physical control for 1 Minute, hostile creatures within a 20ft radius sphere originating from you must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save a creature takes 3d10 + half of your monk level as force damage and is knocked prone. On a success the creature takes half as much damage and is pushed 10ft away from the epicenter.

In addition, for the duration of Shatter Will you gain all the benefits associated with the Disciplined Ferocity feature and you do not provoke attacks of opportunity. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest..
