Base Class: Wizard
Restriction: Adept (Fire), Adept (Water), or Adept (Wind) Background only
Adepts known as Mages study the theory and history of spellcasting and increase their abilities through study and practice. As such, Earth Adepts don't make good mages, as they tend to be too instinctual.
White Mages study defensive spellcasting, learning to protect their allies or prevent their enemies from attacking.

Ward of Light
At 6th level, you learn to use your magical energy to defend against other spells. When you or an ally within 60 feet of you is required to make a saving throw as part of a spell effect, you can use your reaction and expend a spell slot of equal or higher level than the triggering spell to have the creature automatically succeed at the saving throw.
Potent Protection
Starting at 10th level, you learn to target more than one of your friends with protective magic. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that targets an allied creature, you can have it target a second allied creature.

Starting at 14th level, you have advantage on saving throws against spells.
Furthermore, you have resistance against the damage of spells.
