Base Class: Sorcerer
The Light-blessed are linked to the source of primordial, unrestrained magic, that is harnessed by other spell-casters and even other sorcerers. They are linked to the different halves of the source based upon their gender, the males being attached to the side of chaos and the women to the side of order. The men have an aptitude to bend fate and to bend the primordial magics for a number of offensive effects, or defensive effects. The women are given a stronger understanding of the wants and desires of the general populous, and can use their abilities accordingly. The Light-blessed must control their use of their magic or risk losing it all together, and thus must supplement with another tactic of survival. The men typically, but not always, gravitate towards the martial and the use of swordplay to defend themselves. and the women typically find a more diplomatic approach.
Independent of their power.
The Light blessed require a separate way of survival, since their magical abilities could burn them out if they overuse it. This means that They must be able to defend themselves without their magical abilities at times, at certain extents, or when they are exhausted. At 1st level, light-blessed require a way to survive. For this, men and women differ. Most men take a martial approach to their defense, and most women take a diplomatic approach. There are two styles you can take, the Martial and the diplomat. The Martial style allows you to become proficient with the short-sword, the long-sword, and the great-sword. The diplomat has to be able to use their words and their actions to keep them from being killed, so whenever they succeed on any charisma based roll, they gain a +2 to their AC until out of combat.
Diplomat
Diplomats, not proficient in any kind of combat except for magical, are very good negotiators and need to be charismatic. when a diplomat succeeds on a charisma saving throw, they gain a +2 to their Armor Class. This bonus can stack, and it lasts until the end of combat.
Martial
Taking this style makes the user proficient in short-swords, long-swords, and great-swords.
Infathomable power
At 6th level, the light-blessed can modify their magic to an extent beyond what is natural for sorcerers. they can spend an extra sorcery point if they ever use the empowered spell meta-magic option to add 2d6 bonus damage. or if they use a spell to defend or to heal a creature of their choice they can spend a sorcery point to roll with advantage.
Pure Fire
at 14th level, You gain the ability to channel pure, white hot, essence of the flows of magic. This fire has the ability to destroy any object or person who stands in front of it. The fire can be manipulated into a rectangular bar that can at maximum be ten feet high by three feet long.
Base Pure Fire uses a fourth level spell slot, and so starts out with a fourth level spell slot, but can be cast at higher levels. You need to roll to hit, and at base, the spell does 3d12 radiant damage. every spell slot above fourth adds a d12 to the spell damage. Alternatively, when Pure Fire is used the caster can choose to have the target make a constitution saving throw, and should it fail, the damage the target dealt in their last round of combat, or any effects that they caused, will be instantly removed. At higher levels, this effect can go even further back based on the spell slot, all the way up to five rounds of combat prior.
Severing strike
Using the true magic as a sword at 18th level, you can choose one opponent who can use magic, and force them to make a wisdom saving throw, with a DC equal to your proficiency bonus plus your Wisdom Modifier plus the number of first level spell slots you haven't used. on a failed save, the magic-user can no longer use magic. This can only be cured by a use of true resurrection.
