ModernMagic: Talented

You are Talented, able to reason quickly, find advantages where others would find problems, sense things without seeing, and react almost without thinking.  In modern times, many Talented rogues use their intellect to hack people's personal information and create viruses, though some use their talent for good...for the right price of course.

Talent

Your talent has started to grow.  Starting at 3rd level when you choose this archetype, choose one skill or tool that you does not currently use your proficiency bonus.  You are now proficient with that skill or tool, and can add twice your proficiency modifier to any ability check that uses that skill or tool.

Expert Thinking

Also at 3rd level, you have learned to think about things logically and use your mind instead of your agility, wisdom, or charismatic abilities.  Whenever you make an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, you may use your intelligence modifier + twice your proficiency bonus, instead of the modifier you would normally use.  This ability cannot replace a roll using strength or constitution.  When you use this feature to make an attack roll, you still add your normal ability score modifier to add to the damage.  You may not use this feature if you are stunned or unconscious.

You may use this feature a number of times equal to your level.  You regain any expended uses on a long rest.

Trained Reaction

Starting at 9th level, you have trained yourself to be able to react.  You have two reactions per round of combat.  These cannot be used on the same trigger at once, and only one can be used on the same creature's turn.  At 15th level, you gain a third reaction per round.

Blindsight

You begin to hone your senses down to a razor's edge.  Starting at 13th level, you gain blindsight out to 15 feet.

Unfailing

Also at 13th level, you can never fail like others can.  For any ability check, treat a roll of 4 or lower as a five.  You may either use this feature or Reliable Talent on skills you are proficient with.

Supreme Talent

Your talent is unmatched by anyone, in this world or any other.  Choose one skill or tool that you have expertise in.  Your proficiency bonus is tripled for ability checks that use that tool or skill.
