Base Class: Monk
The gift of superhuman agility is wasted on the thin and lithe. It is not a miracle that the sparrow flies, nor an exceptional event when the cat lands on its feet- these are things their forms are well adapted to do. Would it not, then, be a miracle if the sloth flew? If the turtle was so agile it would never land on its back? One can only dream of such things...
-Tordrin Halnathar, Sensei of the Tumbling Belly Dojo
Monks of the Flowing Body are, in a word, fat- they gorge themselves (with some level of discipline) for the sheer purpose of taking delight in nature's bounty. They use their impressive mass for combat, using the momentum of their weight to deal devastating blows to their enemies. Eating is a nigh-religious experience for these individuals, one that supercedes the desire for meditation or fasting.
Requirement. To take this class, your character must be considered obese in terms of weight.
Master of Cuisine
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you have achieved some level of mastery in the kitchen and can use your ki to amplify this. You gain proficiency with cooking utensils and the Wisdom (Survival) skill if you don't already have it. Furthermore, whenever you prepare a meal during a rest, you may make use of your ki to enhance prepared meals with healing properties. Whoever consumes the enhanced meal gains 3d4+3 hit points in addition to any health regained during the rest, and loses 1 level of exhaustion. A person may benefit from such a meal only once per day. You may make use of this feature a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus. The meal loses these healing properties after one day has passed.
The amount healed by your meal increases to 5d4+5 at level 9 and 7d4+7 at level 15.
Rolling Spirit
At 6th level, you gain the ability to weaponize your body. As an action, you may expend 2 ki points to shoot yourself forward in a line 5 feet wide and 25 feet long. When you do so, you do not provoke attacks of opportunity, and any enemy in that line must succeed a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus) or take 3d6 + Dexterity Modifier bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. Creatures that succeed the saving throw suffer no damage and are not knocked prone.
Become as a Mountain
Beginning at 11th level, your tremendous size and your attunement to your ki makes you unnaturally hardy and difficult to harm. All incoming damage is reduced by an amount equal to your Proficiency Bonus (this can reduce the damage to 0, not to negative numbers). Additionally, as a reaction when you are dealt damage from an attack that you can see, you may spend 1 ki point to become resistant to that damage type until the start of your next turn.
Thousand Winds Belch
At 17th level, you gain the ability to release the ki you absorb from food to destructive capacities. As an action, you may spend 4 ki points to target any number of creatures within 30 feet of you that you can see. Those creatures must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, they suffer the full force of your cataclysmic gullet as food and ki alike are exhaled from you at supersonic speeds- they suffer 5d10 bludgeoning damage, 5d10 thunder damage, and 5d10 acid damage, or half as much on a successful save.
You may only use this ability once before requiring a long rest and a meal to recharge.
