Natural Musing

When you join the College of Folklore at 3rd level, you become deeply connected to nature, the Feywild, and the legends surrounding them. When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn a bard cantrip or a bard spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from the druid spell list or the bard spell list. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a bard spell for you.

In addition, you gain the druidcraft cantrip.

Legendary Storyteller

Starting at 3rd level, you can spend 1 hour as part of a short or long rest to immerse a friendly creature into a legend about the making of the realm, connecting them to the spirits you channel through your work as a bard. Until you use this feature again, the attuned creature gains some of the residual magical energy whenever you use your Bardic Inspiration feature on another ally. They likewise gain a Bardic Inspiration die, but only receive a bonus equal to half the result rolled (minimum 1).

Conjure Kindred Spirits

Beginning at 6th level, you may empower your voice to resonate into the Feywild, temporarily enlisting aid in battle. You can cast conjure animals without expending a spell slot. The duration is increased to 3 hours and the spell no longer requires concentration, but you can only summon two beasts of challenge rating 1/2 or lower. You can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to heal a summoned beast 1d8 hit points per level of the spell slot expended.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of 3rd level or higher to use this feature again. If you use this action and already have summoned creatures from this feature, they immediately disappear.

Starting at 10th level, the maximum challenge rating of summoned beasts increases to 1.

Masterful Fabulist

Beginning at 14th level, your connection to fables and fey grow stronger still. You gain the following features:

Masterful Summoning. The maximum challenge rating of summoned beasts increases to 2, and their attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Ritual of Passing. You can spend an action to perform mystifying, ritualistic chants as per a long forgotten tradition. The ritual returns the spirit of one of your conjured Kindred Spirits to the Feywild, causing the beast to disappear and granting yourself and up to 3 other friendly creatures that can hear you a Bardic Inspiration die without expending a use of that feature.

When you use this feature, you do not grant an additional Bardic Inspiration die to the creature attuned through Legendary Storyteller.
