Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Stormchasers are lonesome wanderers who spend their time studying and harnessing the power of storms. Their homes reside usually in the Plane of Storms on the border of the Elemental Plane of Air. Seldom do these storm dwellers enter society, but some of these rangers find the urge to use their power and hunt dangerous creatures on the mortal plane. Others try and guide people into the storm to join the ranks of Stormchasers.

Stormchaser's Magic

Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Stormchaser Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Lightning Piercer

Starting at 3rd level, when you attack with a ranged weapon, you can invoke the power of the storm and imbue your shot with electricity. Using a bonus action, you can imbue the ammunition with electricity, the damage of the arrow becomes lightning damage and you can add 1d8 thunder damage to the attack. This extra damage becomes 2d8 when you reach level 11.

Eye of the Storm

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to magically sense the presence of a coming storm or other harsh/dangerous weather. You can detect the distance and direction to the closest storm within 1 mile of you.

See the "Wilderness" section in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master's Guide for examples of dangerous or intense weather.

Stormtouched

At 7th level, you learn to channel the electricity within you to conjure three bolts of lightning. As an action, you can expend 1 spell slot to attack with another lightning piercer arrow. The number of additional arrows is equal to the level of the spell slot used.

You may use this ability an number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down.

Additionally, you gain resistance to lightning damage.

Bolt Charger

At 11th level, you gain the speed of a storm. Your walking speed increases by 10 ft.

Additionally, you can use your action or to teleport up to 30 ft to an unoccupied space you can see. When you take the Attack action in combat with a melee weapon, you may teleport up to 10 ft to an unoccupied space you can see.

Stormwarden

At 15th level, the power of the storm has permanently altered you. You gain immunity to lightning damage and resistance to thunder damage. Additionally, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed as you can command the air around you to carry you.
