Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Cobra Kai dojo follow three basic principles: strike first, strike hard, no mercy. Monks of this dojo learn that at the end of a fight, it does not matter who fought with honour. The only thing that matters is who hits the ground and who walks away. Through training, these monks learn to focus their energy into quick, lethal physical strikes, as well as tricks that can turn the tide on opponents expecting a fair fight.
Sweep the Leg
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to trip up your opponents and kick them while they are down. You can spend 1 ki point to try to shove a creature within 5 feet of you as a bonus action. Additionally, whenever a creature is knocked prone within 5 feet of you, you can use a reaction to make an unarmed strike against them.
Strike First
You've developed instinct for fighting. You can add your Wisdom modifier to your initiative. You can also add your Wisdom modifier to an unarmed strike against a creature that hasn't taken a turn yet.
Strike Hard
Starting 11th level, you can pinpoint and exploit injuries. Whenever you use an unarmed strike to hit a creature whose HP is below maximum HP you can spend ki points to deal extra force damage. the extra damage is equal to 1d6 for 1 ki point, plus 1d6 for each ki point spent beyond the first.
Additionally, if you expended at least 3 ki points, the target is knocked prone
No Mercy
Starting at 17th level, when you reduce a creature's HP to 0, you regain half of your maximum ki points.
