Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Where others see a horde of enemies, a Commando sees opportunities, cover, and flanking points. Divide and conquer, and use their numbers against them. An army is nothing but people; and people are easily broken in the right conditions.

Martial Law

Beginning at 3rd level when you choose this class option, you can force the battlefield to bend to your will. You can expend a use of this ability to do one of the following:

Friendly Fire. If an attack misses you, you can use your reaction to force the attack to be rolled again against a creature you are grappling.

Shield Bash. You can use a bonus action to make a weapon attack with a shield or a weapon you are wielding with two hands. On a hit, the creature takes 1d8 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage and is moved up to 10 feet away from you.

Warlord's Lunge. When you make a melee weapon attack, you can increase the range of the attack by 5 feet. You can use the same attack roll to target any creatures between you and the target.

Combat Grapple. When you make a grapple attempt, you can choose to roll against the creature's AC instead of having it roll.

You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (a minimum of once), regaining all expended uses upon finishing a short rest.

Warlord's Lunge. When you make a melee weapon attack, you can increase the range of the attack by 5 feet. You can use the same attack roll to target any creatures between you and the target.

Living Shield

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your enemies as a bulwark against danger. While grappling a creature, you are considered to have half cover against attacks if the attack originates from within 5 feet of you or if it passes though a creature you are grappling.

In addition, when you use your Action Surge or Second Wind abilities, you gain a +2 bonus to any grapple attempts you make before the end of your turn, and you can regain an expended use of your Martial Law ability.

Forced Negotiations

At 7th level, you can use your upper hand in combat to your benefit You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) and Charisma (Persuasion) checks against hostile creatures if they can see you grappling one of their allies.

Endless Onslaught

Beginning at 7th level, you are able to keep laying suppression on your foes. When you move at least 30 feet towards a creature and end up within reach of it, you can use your bonus action to attempt to grapple it.

In addition, when a creature breaks your grapple or is moved away from you, you can make an opportunity attack against it.

Quick Reposition

At 10th level, you can lock down an enemy and move quickly through a battlefield. When you take the Attack action and hit the same creature with at least two attacks, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

Trailblazer

Starting at 15th level, your recklessness can inspire your allies to do the same. When you make a grapple attempt or melee attack against a creature, you can expend a use of your Martial Law ability to choose a friendly creature within 30 feet of you. That creature can use its reaction to move up to 10 feet and make a grapple or shove attempt against a creature within reach of it.

In addition, using your Indomitable ability while grappling a hostile creature doesn't expend any uses of that ability unless you succeed on the saving throw, and you count as one size larger for the purposes of grappling creatures.

Rapid Dispatch

At 18th level, you can move from foe to foe with ease. If the creature you're currently grappling is reduced to 0 hit points, you can move up to 15 feet and make a grapple attempt against another creature if they are within your reach.

In addition, creatures that you have grappled now count as three-quarters cover.
