Base Class: Rogue
"You must take down those who oppress. Their reign must end. There is only one sure method." - Willow, High Priestess Of Garlic Bread
You are a servant of the deities of ball bearings, known as Murder Marbles, and Garlic Bread. You steal the money and the lives of the rich, and you give garlic bread and murder marbles to the poor. Some example deities are Garlikio, Loafetta, the very evil Chezmen, Marbrun, Spherai, and Murdoron. All of them agree on one thing. Someday, all rich snooty jerks will learn to Dread The Bread.
Dread The Bread
At 3rd level, your punching up has gained you a reputation.
You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks made against those richer than you.
Slip Sliding Away
At 3rd level, you are officially a mistress of murder marbles, and you are their savior, so they let you pass unslipped.
You aren't affected by ball bearings or ball bearing related items.
Blinded By The Salt
You guessed it. Pocket sand.
Starting at 9th level, you always have your "pocket concoction" on you. It is a mixture of garlic salt, murder marbles and bread crumbs with a texture similar to sand that you keep in your pockets at all times.
3 times per day, you may take an action to blind a creature you can see within 5 feet for 5 minutes.
Garlic Knots
At 13th level, you have made homemade garlic knots to fight for what's right.
3 times a day, you may throw a garlic knot at a creature you can see within 30 ft., dealing 2d12 bludgeoning damage.
Murder Marble Mistress
Starting at 17th level, you are a fully-fledged ball bearing mistress, and you gain advantage on any rolls associated with any ball bearings or ball bearing related items. (the DM decides what counts)
issokay
I use a lot of homebrew in my campaign, because it IS a homebrew campaign, and I mean to add your stuff, but I haven't gotten to it yet.
'Tis an honor to be the homebrew mistress.
You are the master of homebrew. I only Allow your homebrew in My campaign when I use homebrew
reasonable
Makes sense, but I still feel like it's a bit underpowered.
its mostly for my murder marble related items
This is great, but as the others said, could use some fine-tuning. I would have the number of times you can use Blinded by the Salt increase at higher levels. Also, the 17th level ability seems a little weak when you already have the 3rd level ability to be unaffected by ball bearings.
thanks! im glad you enjoyed this.
you are my new favourite person out there.
Yes. I say this not because I have any idea, but because it just feels right.
Can Garlic Knots be considered finesse weapons? I feel like it should synergise with Sneak Attack.
any advice?
This is hilarious, but has work before it can be on par with the cleric. The cleric as funny as it is is a balanced class, this seems a bit underpowered.
I have officially garlic breadified the rogue. I made sure to include the all important pocket sand. I think I might skip ahead and make the Garlic Bread Dragon next. Stay tuned!
