Base Class: Barbarian
You are the Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse, the one no one pays mind to, the one who has yet to be called upon, Insanity incarnate. Wielding fear and madness, you enter the battlefield in such a maniacal rage that your enemies are forced to consider retreat for the sake of sanity. Upon the start of your journey you've felt a calling, a boon granted by the forces of fate, to provide the mental despair that has seemed to gone missing in men who dare oppose you. Your aptitude in striking fright into your enemies has developed and been heightened tenfold to serve as the warrior who brings forth the one fear that no man can ignore, that which takes place in their own minds.
Dreadful Rage
At 3rd level, when a creature within 30 feet of you can hear or see you when you enter your rage, they must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + Strength modifier) or become frightened of you for the duration of your rage. They can make a saving throw on each turn until your rage ends, ending the effect on a success or at the end of your rage.
Intimidating Build
You gain proficiency in Intimidation. If you are already proficient in Intimidation, you can instead choose another Barbarian skill to be proficient in. You can also use your Strength modifier in place of your Charisma modifier when making an Intimidation check.
Mind of the Maddened Maze
You gain resistance to psychic damage. You also gain immunity to the charmed and frightened conditions.
Shake It Off
At 6th level, you can as a reaction to taking damage, spend a hit die and add your constitution modifier to the number rolled, reducing the damage taken by that amount. You can only reduce the damage to as low as 1 point.
Unwelcome Thoughts
At 10th level, you gain advantage on saving throws against abilities that would intrude on your mind, such as mind reading or control abilities. If the save is a success, the creature attempting to affect you is instead frightened of you for 1 minute, or until you use a bonus action to end it.
Forced Empathy
At 14th level, you can focus on a fear effect of a creature that is already frightened of you. You concentrate on them and drive them to insanity as you share with them what goes on in your own head. When you do this, they are not only frightened but prone and incapacitated. While under this effect, the creature takes bonus psychic damage equal to your rage damage whenever they are hit by a weapon attack.
