Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You have made your pact with a rare intelligent ooze that has amassed immense power, such as the Faceless Lord Juiblex, demon lord of oozes and shapeless things, a similar deity of oozes, an ancient elder oblex, or some other slime, jelly, pudding, or amorphous creature that long ago somehow gained sentience and accumulated knowledge and magical power over millennia, such as a white maw, intelligent black pudding, or psychic gray ooze. Your pact with that being gave you a portion of their seemingly endless power, similar to how an ooze divides itself to multiply, and then regrows back to its original size.

Expanded Spell List

The Ooze lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Ooze Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells

1st

color spray, grease

2nd

alter self, melf's acid arrow

3rd

meld into stone, slow

4th

freedom of movement, vitriolic sphere

5th

cloudkill, transmute rock

Bonus Cantrips

At 1st level, you learn the acid splash and shape water cantrips. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known.

Bones of Jelly

Starting at 1st level, you can soften your body to mitigate damage from impacts and compress unnaturally. You have resistance to bludgeoning damage from nonmagical attacks while you’re not surprised, and you can move through a space as narrow as 1 foot wide without squeezing.

Corrosive Touch

Starting at 6th level, you can dissolve material at your mere touch. As an action, you can touch an object to corrode it. If the object is being worn or carried by a creature that is not incapacitated, you must succeed on a melee spell attack roll against the creature’s AC in order to touch it.

Any nonmagical weapon made of metal or wood that you touch corrodes. The weapon takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to damage rolls. If its penalty drops to -5, the weapon is destroyed. Any nonmagical ammunition made of metal or wood is destroyed. Any nonmagical armor made of metal or wood that you touch corrodes. The armor takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to AC. If its penalty drops to -5, the armor is destroyed. You can corrode through 2-inch-thick, nonmagical wood or metal in 1 round.

Bones of Pudding

Starting at 10th level, you have immunity to bludgeoning damage from nonmagical attacks and resistance to bludgeoning damage from magical attacks while you’re not surprised, and you can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Meld into Goo

Beginning at 14th level, you can cast polymorph once without expending a spell slot. You can't do so again until you finish a long rest. When you do so, you can only target yourself and transform into an ooze with a challenge rating as high as your warlock level divided by 3, rounded down. You retain your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores.

If you are Split into multiple oozes while transformed, all oozes act on your initiative count, and must be brought together within 10 feet of one another for you to reform safely. If you reform while any Split ooze is more than 10 feet from one another, the Split oozes reform into your severed body members (fingers, legs, tails, and so on), with smooth stumps. These severed body members can be reattached with a regeneration spell, or by casting polymorph in this way again while within 10 feet of the severed body members.
