Base Class: Paladin
Many Paladins serve higher causes, but you have taken an oath to be thankful for what the world, your deity and others have provided. You are focused on providing for your community, defending it and creating a warm, welcoming environment for the community. You also really like turkeys and pumpkin pies. As you gain levels, you move from helping outside the kitchen, to being in charge of preparing the feast, to being in charge of the logistics and ensuring the safe arrival of guests and supplies. Several of your spells help you prepare mundane food or large quantities of it, while also letting you summon magical food as well. Your oath spells reflect this growing responsibility:
3rd: Create or Destroy Water; Purify Food and Drink
5th: Heat Metal; Locate Animal or Plant
9th: Summon Festival Pavilion (Leomund's Tiny Hut); Create Food or Water
13th: Locate Creature; Wall of Fire
17th: Heroes' Feast (for you, Heroes' Feast is a 5th level spell); Commune
Sacred Oath: Thanksgiving
You have dedicated yourself to providing thanks and blessings for the bounties available to your community. You gain access to the Oath Spells available to this Oath. For you, Heroes Feast is a 5th Level Spell. Your tenets are Community, Graciousness, Togetherness and Forgiveness. If you do not have Proficiency in Cook's Tools, you gain it.
Channel Divinity: Thanksgiving
As a reaction, you may use your Channel Divinity ability after being targeted by a friendly creature or when a friendly creature moves adjacent to you. If you do, you may immediately spend Hit Points from your Lay on Hands pool to restore health to that character. If you do, add 1d8 healing to this healing. This healing increases to 2d8 at 5th level; 3d8 at 9th level; and 4d8 at 15th level.
Channel Divinity: Sanctify Meal
After a short or long rest, you may use your Channel Divinity ability to bless a meal you have prepared. If you do, you may spend up to your Paladin Level + Charisma Modifier worth of your Lay on Hands pool. If you do so, creatures up to your Paladin level gain temporary hit points equal to the value you spend. In addition, those creatures and yourself benefit from Bless as if you cast it for one hour. You must maintain concentration for this effect.
Aura of Thanks
Starting at 7th level, when you or friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are healed or gain temporary Hit Points that involve a dice roll, that healing has advantage.
At 18th level, the range of this Aura increases to 30 feet.
Grand Champion of the Festival
Beginning at 15th level, you have become the master of the harvest festivals for your community. When you prepare a meal or create food using magic, you may spend 8 points of Lay on Hands to make one serving of that meal a Festival Meal. When eaten, a Festival Meal cures the recipient of all magic and mundane poisons and diseases.
At 20th level, if you spend 15 points of Lay on Hands, the recipient also benefits from Dispel Magic cast as if it were a 3rd level spell. You make a Dispel Magic check for any remaining effects using your spellcasting ability. A Festival Meal also allows the recipient to gain Hit Points as if they spent a Hit Die. Festival Meals require time to appreciate, and thus may only be eaten during short or long rests.
You may only have as many Festival Meals prepared as equal to your Charisma modifier. If a Festival Meal is ever more than a mile from you, the magic fades. A Festival Meal is preserved for up to two weeks.
Avatar of the Festival
At 20th level, as an action, you become an avatar of your community. Your appearance changes to match that of what your community sees as the avatar of their thanksgiving and communal blessings. For 1 minute, you radiate a warm, bright light that enhances your Paladin auras. All friendly creatures within 30 feet gain Resistance to: Fire, Cold, Necrotic, Poison and Radiant damage. They are immune and cured from any Poison or Fear effects.
Whenever an ally begins or ends its turn in this aura, you may spend points from your Lay on Hands pool to grant them Temporary Hit Points.
In addition, for the duration of this effect, any friendly creatures within this aura who have benefited from either your magical or mundane foods since your last long rest, have advantage on the first attack they make each turn.
When you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
