Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Aligned Wheel have unlocked the natural flow of energy with their own bodies. They learn how to channel their latent energy through the natural conduits one is born with. In turn, they also learn how to help or hinder another by controlling the same places.
Gate Opening
3rd-level Way of the Aligned Wheel feature
You can use your anatomical knowledge to open Energy Gates within a body. You can open 2 Energy Gates of your choice from among the ones provided below, and each time you gain a level in this class, you can replace one Energy Gate you know with a different one from this feature. When you reach certain levels in this class, you learn how to open additional Energy Gates, as shown in the Energy Gate table.

When you finish a long rest, you can touch a number of places on your body equal to the number of Open Gates you know. The Energy Gates remain selected until you finish a long rest.
The following runes are available to you when you learn how to open an Energy Gate. If an Energy Gate has a level requirement, you must be at least that level in this class to learn how to open it. If an Energy Gate requires a saving throw, your Energy Gate save DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
Muladhara Gate: You have advantage on Wisdom (Medicine) checks. While this Energy Gate is open, for 1 minute you cannot be pushed against your will and cannot be knocked prone by an attack or spell. Once you open this Energy Gate, you can't do so again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Swadhistana Gate: You have advantage on Charisma (Deception) checks. While this Energy Gate is open, when you hit a creature with an attack using a monk weapon, you can force the target to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC:{{savedc:wis}}) or be charmed for 1 minute. While charmed, the target considers you an ally and can be given commands as a bonus action on your following turns. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, breaking the charm on a success. Once you open this Energy Gate, you can't do so again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Manipura: You have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks. While this Energy Gate is open, for 1 minute you can add your Wisdom modifier to all saving throws. Once you open this Energy Gate, you can't do so again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Anahata (7th level or higher): You have advantage on Intelligence (Religion) checks. While this Energy Gate is open, for 1 minute when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike you gain temporary hit points equal to half of the damage dealt. Once you open this Energy Gate, you can't do so again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Vissadha (7th level or higher): You have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks. When you open this Energy Gate, for 1 minute, no sound can be created within or pass through a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on you. Any creature or object entirely inside the sphere is immune to thunder damage, and creatures are deafened while entirely inside it. Casting a spell that includes a verbal component is impossible there. Once you open this Energy Gate, you can't do so again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Ajna (9th level or higher): You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks. When you open this Energy Gate, for 1 minute, you have truesight, you notice secret doors hidden by magic, and can see into the Ethereal Plane, all out to a range of 120 feet. Once you open this Energy Gate, you can't do so again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Sahasrara (11th level or higher): You may add half of you Proficiency Bonus to each skill you are Proficient in. When you open this Energy Gate, for 1 minute, you are immune to the charmed, frightened, paralyzed, and stunned conditions. Once you open this Energy Gate, you can't do so again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Energy Practitioner
6th-level Way of the Aligned Wheel feature
You learn to awaken Energy Gates within your allies. As a bonus action you may spend 1 Ki point to open any known Energy Gate by touching a willing creature. A creature, other than yourself, may not have more than one Energy Gate open at a time.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Improved Alignment
11th-level Way of the Aligned Wheel feature
Opening gates over time has permanently altered your senses making you sharper. You add your Wisdom modifier to all Initiative rolls.
Additionally, the effects of opening gates on yourself and allies increases by 1 minute.
Anatomical Nirvana
17th-level Way of the Aligned Wheel feature
Your knowledge of the Energy Gates has reached its apex, resulting in true alignment with the dormant power within yourself. As a bonus action, you can spend 7 ki points to open all Energy Gates for 1 minute.
While in this state you gain the following benefits:
- Unbound Body: You remove all worldly impurities from your body unleashing its true potential. Your speed is doubled, you gain a +2 bonus to AC, you have advantage on Dexterity saving throws, and you gain an additional action on each of your turns. This action can be used only to take the Attack (one weapon attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action.
- Unclouded Mind: You see all potential moves made against you. Hostile creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity against you.
- Unwavering Soul: Your senses are now tied to the higher planes of existence. You gain a number of reactions equal to your Wisdom modifier.
