Path of the Grunge

 

You have found only one outlet for the deep, seething angsty rage: music! Your anger is so powerful and poetic, you have learned to channel it into some limited spell casting. The Path of the Grunge allows you to fight with your axe in both senses of the word.

Shredding

You have learned to channel your primal rage into the thundering riffs of a thousand Marshall half-stacks. Starting at level 3, you gain proficiency with 1 musical instrument, and you can cast spells from the bard spell list. You gain additional spells as your character levels according to the Path of the Grunge Spell list. Constitution is your spellcasting ability.

 

Face Melting Rage

Your angsty licks have become powerful enough to cause neurological damage. Starting at Level 6, when you begin rage, you may choose one creature within 120ft. On a failed WIS save, the creature takes 1d6 psychic damage and is stunned. The condition lasts for 1 min or until the creature succeeds on the saving throw. The damage increases to 2d6 at 8th level, 3d6 at 10th, and 4d6 at 15th

Focused Brooding

The reason for your angst is so clear in your mind that you can now cast spells while raging. The effort is taxing, however. Every time you cast a spell while raging, roll a d20. On a 1 or 2, the spell fails and your action is wasted.

Smells Like Teen Spirit

Your angst is so pure that the grungy goodness coming from your soul can inspire angst in others. Starting at 10th level, when you begin raging you gain 2 bardic inspiration dice (2d10). As a bonus action, you can give an inspiration die to a creature. These inspiration dice can only be used to add to hit or damage rolls, and must be used before the end of your rage. 

Distortion Pedal

You gained the ability to use your incredible angsty power to electrify your audience. Starting at 14th level, you can use a bonus action while raging to infuse your weapon with eardrum-splitting might. For one minute, attacks with that weapon do an additional 2d10 thunder damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
