Base Class: Paladin
The Field Marshall
The Field Marshall provides both protection and offense and is an obvious presence while on the battlefield. They often have bold almost loudly colored armor and regalia.
Tenets of the Dragonborn War Mage:
Unconquered: You will suffer no master nor tolerate a tyrant. The storm cows to no one, and neither shall you. Loss in battle is unthinkable. Unless you can become stronger through the experience.
Honesty. Don’t lie, cheat or steal for selfish reasons. Let your word be your promise.
Courage. Fear is a primal survival tool that as a Dragonborn Paladin, you must not never succumb to.
Compassion. Aid others as the situation allows, protect the weak, and punish those who threaten them. The War Mage Paladin doesn't attempt to correct every instance of need in the world. They usually have a primary goal. As long as acting doesn't negatively impact that goal, quest or crusade, then it is expected that they act.
Honor. Treat others with fairness, and let your honorable deeds be an example to them.
Duty. Be responsible for your actions and their consequences, protect those entrusted to your care.
Bring glory and honor to the Clan.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Thunderous Teleportation. As a Bonus Action, you can teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 60 feet of you, using your Channel Divinity. When you do so, you create a thunderous boom which can be heard up to 500 feet away. Causes enemies within 15 feet of new location to take a dexterity saving throw. 1d8 damage. Additionally if they save, they still fall prone but take no damage. Upon a roll of 19 or 20, they are not affected.
Favored Enemy. As a bonus action, you can assign 1 enemy within10 feet of you as your targeted enemy, using your Channel Divinity. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 hit points or falls unconscious.

Living Sanctuary
Beginning at 7th level, you have come to embody many qualities of an actual ramification. You can no longer be forcefully moved or knocked prone by spell effects, or by abilities used by creatures that are one size larger than you or smaller. Additionally, allies who are within 5 feet of you, and are your size or smaller, gain the benefits of half cover.
Aura of armored protection
Starting at 15th level, you emanate so much enmity and defensive strength that it is almost palpable. You and friendly creatures within 15 feet of you reduce all damage taken by an amount equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1). You reduce damage this way before resistances have been calculated.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Dome of Arcing Plasma
At 20th level, as an action, you can emanate a dome of arcing plasma. For 1 minute, bright light shines from you in a 40-foot radius in all directions including above.
Whenever an enemy creature starts its turn in the bright light, the creature takes 10 radiant damage and 2d8 lightning damage.
In addition, for the duration, you and any allies within the dome have advantage on saving throws against spell attacks and enemies are at disadvantage on ranged attacks.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Posted Sep 9, 2021Is this Oath broken. When I use it for my character, (a) the Oath spells do not show up, and (b) the channel divinity options are listed but overlapped by my previous Oath's divinity.
I really like this Oath as it fits my character story who may want to change Oaths in the 'story'. Thanks! John
