Base Class: Monk

you are a monster, once a normal person, you were experimented on, and had a demon of chaos sealed inside of you. This has it's benefits, allowing you to tap into it's power, at the cost of your sanity.

The Ten Abyssal Seals

When you reach 3rd level in this class you gain the ability to tap into the power of the sealed demon on your body by breaking 1 of the 10 seals. Breaking a seal costs a bonus action, and costs a number of Ki points equal to the number of the seal you are breaking.

Seal 1: Pain

Your unarmed strikes deal an extra 1d4 damage, and your speed goes up by 5 feet. you take one point of exhaustion when the seal closes.

Seal 2: Anger

 

 Your Dexterity scores goes up by 2, and you have advantage on Dexterity saving throws. you take 2 points of exhaustion when this seal closes

Seal 3: Fear

You gain advantage on Intimidation checks, and gain a fearful presence in a 5 foot radius (DC = Ki save DC). you take 3 points of exhaustion when this seal closes

Seal 4: Agony

Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 2d4 Fire damage, and gain a reach of an extra 5 ft. your base movement speed also goes up by 5 ft. Hellfire begins to appear on the body You take 4 points of exhaustion when this seal closes.

Seal 5: Rage 

Your Dexterity score goes up by 4, and you gain advantage on dexterity saving throws. you take 5 points of exhaustion when this seal closes

Seal 6: Terror

You gain expertise in Intimidation checks, and your fearful presence expands to 10 ft radius. Spectral, Flaming horns begin to form on your head. You gain disadvantage on wisdom saving throws and must make a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw to willingly close the seal, taking a short term madness when this seal closes. if you fail the save, the next seal opens on your next turn.

Seal 7: Mutilation

Your unarmed attacks deal and additional 2d6 necrotic damage, you gain an extra 10 feet of reach, and your movement speed goes up by an additional 5 ft. the fiery silhouette of a demon outlines the character, and their skin begins burning. must make a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw to willingly close the seal, taking a long term madness when this seal closes. if you fail the save, the next seal opens on your next turn.

Seal 8: Madness

You gain resistance to psychic damage, and can add your wisdom modifier to your unarmed attacks, but your Intelligence score is reduced by 2. must make a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw to willingly close the seal, taking a long term madness when this seal closes. if you fail the save, the next seal opens on your next turn without expending ki.

Seal 9: Insanity

You gain immunity to psychic damage, and have an additional 20 ft of movement speed, but you take 2d6 necrotic damage every turn this seal is open. must make a DC 24 Wisdom saving throw to willingly close the seal, taking a long term madness when this seal closes. if you fail the save, the next seal opens on your next turn without expending ki.

Seal 10: Oblivion

you may make an extra attack on your turn, and your unarmed attacks deal 2d8 necrotic damage. must make a DC 25 Wisdom saving throw to willingly close the seal, taking a long term madness when this seal closes. if you fail the save, the seal stays open. if this seal stays open for 4 turns, you lose control of yourself as the demon within takes control.

opening your body to the Abyss has left you scarred and deformed. you gain resistance to fire damage and have a +1 to your ac from having a tough hide.

Abyssal Contract

Your exposure to the sealed demon inside allows you to summon a manifestation of your hatred to the material plane. you can cast the summon greater demons spell a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier. once you have cast the spell that many times, you must long rest.

Abyssal Fortitude

Your abyssal companion has an interest in keeping you alive. when you have any number of seals open and an spell or ability states that you would die, you can instead use your reaction to close all of your seals and reach 1 hit point instead. you may do this ability once per long rest
