Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Alone and afraid, you have special skills like none other. With an appetite for blood and an unquenchable thirst for souls, you make your way through the world looking for purpose and satisfaction. Unable to make your true powers known to the world, you stick to the shadows and hunt for your next unsuspecting victim. Using souls of the fallen and blood of the injured, you gain incredible strength while staying silent and nimble.

Life Harvest

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you can harvest the life force from enemies to whom you've injured or killed. Once per turn, after successfully landing an attack, you can use a bonus action to drink the blood from blade of your weapon. This blood empowers you to keep fighting, granting you 1d6 + your constitution modifier temporary health. Landing the killing blow allows you to use your bonus action to inhale their escaping soul, granting a critical strike if you succeed your next attack roll. These effects end once you are no longer in combat.

Blood Sense

Starting at 3 level, you can use your bonus action granted by Cunning Action to focus on an injured enemy’s scent. This focus gives you 10 bonus movement directly towards your focused enemy. In addition, your sneak attack changes to Blood Hunt. Every time you attack with Blood hunt, you heal equal to the number of blood hunt dice rolled. Blood Sense can only be used once during combat and resets once combat ends.

Blood Hunt

Starting at 3 level, your sneak attacks deal reduced damage to healthy targets. However, sneak attacks deal increased bonus damage to injured enemies.

Ethereal Vision

By 9 level, you have extensive practice seeing and handling ethereal forces. Enemies in combat can no longer hide from you. You gain the ability to see their souls on the Ethereal plane, allowing nothing in the physical world to block your view of them. Additionally, you gain the ability to craft spirit daggers, which can pass through the physical world.

Spirit Daggers target the link between a creature’s soul and its physical body but are also a link between the user and their soul. Spirit daggers can only be retrieved if you are the one to land the final hit on the enemy, otherwise, they are destroyed. Spirit daggers ignore physical full cover and can target obscured enemies unless concealed by magical darkness. If you land a critical hit with a Spirit Dagger, roll 1d10. If the die lands on a 10, the dagger is destroyed, but instantly killing the enemy.

Can only be crafted during a long rest. You may only carry a number of Spirit Daggers equal to half of your rogue level rounded up.

Insatiable Thirst

Starting at 13 level, you feel your power growing stronger. Focusing an enemy with Blood Sense now grants 25 bonus movement towards them. Landing the killing blow on your focused enemy now refreshes Blood Sense. Additionally, drinking the blood of your enemies now grants 1d10 + your constitution modifier temporary health.

Hemostasis

At 17 level, you become adept at influencing blood. Landing a critical hit against an injured enemy causes their blood to briefly stop flowing, paralyzing them for 1 round in combat. Target must make a constitution saving throw of DC (10 + Dex Modifier + Proficiency Modifier).
