Base Class: Sorcerer
In the world of Pneumaia, the spirits of the dead wander the world of the living. Deprived of a corporeal form, they attach themselves to humanoid forms. Usually, these forms are inanimate, if they ever were, but occasionally, a living being becomes a host. When this happens, other spirits are drawn to them, like flies to a light. This gives the host a great amount of magical power. However, they have to be careful not to let their inhabitants gain control.
Host of Spirits
The spirits inhabiting you reinforce your spellcasting and provide you with more power. As a bonus action, you may regain one expended spell slot of your choice of level 4 or less. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. You gain additional uses at the indicated levels.
Ghostly Senses
The spirits inhabiting your body amplify your senses. You gain darkvision if you didn't have it already. If you do have it, the range of your darkvision increases by 30 feet.
Spirit Surge
You learn to control the power your spirits give you. When you use your Host of Spirits ability, rather than regaining a spell slot, you may add 1d6 force damage to the next spell you cast this turn. When you reach 14th level, this becomes a d8, and at 19th level, it becomes a d10.
Ghostly Agility
The spirits you host amplify your movement. You get an additional 10 feet of movement speed and gain a climbing speed of 10 feet. Additionally, you can use your bonus action to Dash.
Soul Explosion
You release the power of your spirits in one instantaneous, devastating blow. As an action, you may expend all uses of your Host of Spirits ability. When you do, choose any number of creatures within 30 feet of you. Each of those creatures must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. Each creature that fails takes 4d10 force damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you. Each creature that succeeded isn't pushed.
