Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians carry many labels, among them that of the blood frenzied berzerk. Few barbarians justify these stereotypes more than those following the Path of the Bloodstained.

Whether motivated by vengeance, lust for power or simple sadistic glee, barbarians who follow this path become manifestations of gore and death, tearing away through the battlefield from body to body.

Butcher's Eye

Starting when you choose this path at 3rdlevel, you gain the ability to focus your ire on the weak. While raging, you can use a bonus action to acknowledge and mark the hostile creature within 60 feet of you that has the lowest hitpoints left. If there are two or more creatures tied at an equal amount for the lowest, you may choose either. The first time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack each turn, it takes an extra 1d6 damage of the weapons type. In addition, your weapons critically strike against the marked creature when rolling a 19 or a 20 on the die. The mark lasts until the designated creature dies, your rage ends or you use this feature again.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficency bonus, regaining all expended uses on a long rest.

Execution

At 6th level, when you reduce a creature to 0 hitpoints, you can use your reaction to perform one of the following Execution options of your choice:

Bloodrush. You may move a distance towards another hostile creature up to your movement speed.

Devour. You feed on the fallen creatures life force. You gain temporary hitpoints equal to your Constitution modifier + your barbarian level.

Glare. You menacingly glare at one creature who can see you. It must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficency bonus + your strength modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn.

Bloodlust

At 10th level, your hunger for death becomes insatiable. When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you may extend the duration of your rage by one minute. Further, you do not suffer from the effects of exhaustion while raging. You can still gain levels of exhaustion, are however immune to their effects until the rage ends.

Cleaving Guillotine

At 14th level, you cleave through your enemies, urging for their demise. When you hit a marked creature with a weapon attack, you can unleash a ruthless strike as a bonus action. The creature needs to succeed on a dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save, the target takes 10d10 damage of your weapons type and is stunned until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and is not stunned. The damage taken cannot be reduced by any means except succeeding on the saving throw.

Once you have used this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
