Base Class: Sorcerer
Phoenix bloodline sorcerers have the influence of the Phoenix in their blood. In parallel to the death and re-birth of the fiery beast, sorcerers of this bloodline have more control over the creation and destruction of spell slots.
Rebirth
At 1st level, Pheonix sorcerers do not hold any spell slots. Instead they start each long rest with the equivalent number of sorcery points. Total the sorcery points for all spell slots that the sorcerer would normally have (as if the sorcerer chose to convert all his/her spell slots into sorcery points) and this becomes the sorcerers casting pool. As part of casting a spell, the sorcerer can create the necessary spell slot (along with any Metamagic feature) using the appropriate number of spell points.

| 1 | 2 |
| 2 | 3 |

| 6 | 9 |
| 7 | 10 |

The caster cannot create spell slots that are greater than his spell casting level.
Temperature Tolerance
At level 1, you become immune to the effects of non-magical cold weather. You can withstand natural cold temperatures, even without clothing, without suffering any ill effects. This tolerance does not apply to cold due to non-weather related effects (e.g. artificially created cold) or magically induced cold weather (e.g. ice storm spell).
Greater Rebirth
Starting at 6th level, you can create spell slots one level higher than those that you would normally be limited to. Since the sorcerer will not know any spells of such a level, yet, these spell slots can only be used to upcast a lower level spell.
Metamagic Master
At 14th level, you gain the ability to use any metamagic option. Metamagic options that you have learned cost the regular number of sorcery points to apply. Metamagic options that you have not learned cost double the sorcery points to use.
Metamagic Duality
You can apply up to two metamagic options when casting a spell.

Posted Apr 14, 2021This bloodline basically turns the sorcerer into a spell point based sorcerer using existing game mechanics (i.e. the existing sorcery point rules). With the existing rules, sorcerers could already do this (i.e. convert all spell slots into sorcery points after a long rest and then turn them back into spell slots as needed) but it normally takes a bonus action to create a spell slot. This bloodline allows the caster to create the spell slot as part of the spell casting.
