Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Sorcerers who’s souls have been touched by the Void are able to harness its dark and timeless powers to twist reality to their will and move through the shadows unseen.

Void Spells

At 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Void Soul Spells table.

Sorcerer Level Spells
1st dissonant whispers, chaos bolt
3rd blindness/deafness, ray of enfeeblement
5th slow, hunger of hadar
7th dimension door, sickening radiance
9th destructive wave, mislead

Darkness of the Void

At 1st level you are able to meld into the shadows when surrounded by it.  When you are in an area of dim light or darkness, you can use your action to become invisible for one minute.  This invisibility ends early if you move, make an attack or cast a spell.  You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all uses after a long rest.

Additionally, you are granted 60ft of darkvision. If your race already grants you darkvision the range is extended by 60ft.

Silence of the Void

At 6th level you can harness the eerie quiet of the Void. Once per short rest, you can attempt to silence a single creature you can see. The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw, or be silenced as per the Silence spell for one minute. At the end of each of the creatures’ turns it may repeat the saving throw. When you use this feature, you may expend two sorcery points to target an additional creature, to a maximum of three total creatures.

Chaos of the Void

Starting at 14th level, you can tap into the chaos of the void. As a reaction, you may force any creature to reroll an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw; they must keep the new roll.

You may use this ability once per long rest. To use this ability again, you must expend two sorcery points. When you use this ability using sorcery points, you must also roll a hit die and lose a number of hit points equal to the roll.

Starting at 18th level, you gain the power to partially blink into the void. You can cast Blink at will without using a spell slot. At the end of your turn, while you are in the Ethereal Plane, you may take one additional action: Dash, Use an Object, Cast a Spell, or Hide. You may use this ability once per short rest.
