Base Class: Barbarian
Many barbarians rely on their wild strength and passion in battle, however some learn to combine their raw strength with more honed skills in battle. Combining parts of the skilled learning of a Fighter with the raw and furious strength of a Barbarian. These barbarians are among the most dangerous warriors to walk the world. This barbarian subclass is meant to really fit the idea of Conan the barbarian's incredible fighting prowess and vitality.
Frenzied Armsman
Starting at 3rd level a Barbarian who takes this path learns how to maximize the effectiveness of his weapons. These effects only occur while the barbarian is raging.
Slashing: The Tribal Champions raw strength allows him to rip and tear through the flesh of his foes with hewing weapons dealing more damage than any civilized warrior. (The Tribal Champion deals an additional 2 points of dmg per hit with a slashing weapon.)
Blunt: The barbarian’s blows are crushing and nothing can protect the target of his fury. Each time the barbarian hits the target the party gains -1 penalty to ac per hit (the maximum this can stack to is a -3 to the target’s ac). This lasts until the target takes a long rest.
Fighting Style
Starting at 6th level the Tribal Champion may choose one of the following fighting styles,
Great Weapon Style: Reroll 1’s or 2’s on dmg rolls with two handed weapons or versatile weapons used in two hands. This reroll may only happen once per damage roll.
Dueling: When wielding a one handed weapon with no weapon in their offhand the barbarian deals an extra 2 dmg.
Dual Weapon Fighting: The Wielder can add their strength modifier dmg to their offhand weapon.
Champion's Resolve
Fighting for his life in the woods, and dungeons of the world has hardened the Tribal Champion’s will. The will to keep going and forge ahead against all odds. At 10th level If the Tribal Champion is raging and forced to make a saving throw he can spend a hit dice to add the result to his roll. This must be done before the Dungeon Master says if it is a success or failure. He can only do this once per saving throw.
Wild Thews
At 14th level the Tribal Champion has learned to master their incredible speed, and reflexes built upon the years of fighting the greatest of challenges of the wild and constant battles against beasts. The Tribal Champion while raging, gains the extra attack feature. Granting him three attacks on his action.
