Base Class: Paladin
This is a homebrew expansion of the Paladin Class from Wizard’s of the Coast’s Player’s Handbook, Fifth Edition. This Oath was originally created by YouTuber Rybonator and art was created by the talented GV-art, this content is being uploaded to help with editing and balancing. Hope you enjoy :)
The paladins serving under the Oath of Flames serve to rid the world of all that is rotted and festered. Reluctant protectors of health and purity, Flame Bearers, as they are called, must do the harsh work of cauterizing the wounds of the land. It is a difficult thing, to cleanse the decay that grows in the veins of the impure, and as such, Paladins of the Oath of Flames are often not welcome in towns and villages. Most who pledge their blades to the flame hide their symbols under their clothing with necklaces, or brands to mark their devotion. Flame Bearers must be made of harder stuff, as when darkness and disease do come, they will be called upon to do the heavy work of purging.
Tenets of Flames
The Oath of Flames is not one made with words, but rather by burning your blood over an open flame. Though no word is spoken, a code is kept by all who follow in the path of ashes and flame. Paladins of this oath share these tenets.
Purge the Wicked.
Those who willingly bring about sickness, corruption, or disease must be purged.
Cauterize the Wounds.
Seek first to heal those afflicted by blight, even at the cost of your own health.
Burn the Dead.
Death is the end. We all will return to ash. Burn any dead that you find, and rid the land of the undead scourge.
Light the Fires.
The hearts of men are easily turned to darkness. Be the beacon of hope and courage in dark times.
Channel Divivnty
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Burning Blade. As an action, you can set the edge of a weapon aflame, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 hour, or until the weapon is sheathed/stowed away, the weapon adds your Charisma modifier to damage rolls made with that weapon as fire damage (with a minimum bonus of +1). The weapon also emits bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light 20 feet beyond that. If the weapon is not already magical it becomes magical for the duration. If you fall unconscious, this effect ends.
Fan the Flames. Flames around you burn with fierce energy. You can use your Channel Divinity to increase the potency of the flames within 30 feet of you for 1 minute. If an object or creature is taking fire damage over time through a spell or similar effect, or if they are currently on fire, they take double the damage from this heat source. (This includes spell effects such as Heat Metal, Searing Smite, Immolation etc.) Flames near the Paladin also spread at a much faster rate if objects are engulfed in flame until the end of the duration.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Incombustible Aura
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are resistant to fire damage while you are conscious.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Flame Bearer
Starting at 15th level, any weapon you are currently wielding in your main hand (or both hands if wielding a two-handed weapon), can function as if under the effect of the Burning Blade option of your Channel Divinity. This effect does not require a use of your Channel Divinity, and the duration of the effect is changed to be while wielding the weapon in your main hand (or both hands if wielding a two-handed weapon).
Champion Of The Flames
At 20th level, your deity recognizes you as a Champion of the Flames. You are blessed with their burning favour. You gain immunity to fire damage, and the ability to maintain concentration on two separate spells from your Oath of Flames Spells at the same time. When attempting to maintain concentration, you must roll separate concentration rolls for each of the spells that you are concentrating on. Losing concentration on one spell does not mean that you automatically lost concentration on the other spell.
