Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Caused by some strange freak of nature, you carry the blood of some sort of psychic being, whether that be a monster such as a Mind Flayer, or something more simple as an ancestor cursed with psychic knowledge, which allows you adept control over psychic abilities.

Telepathic Prowess

You have a deep connection with psionic powers, making you immune to being charmed, and once per long rest you can automatically succeed either an insight, deception, or persuasion check of your choosing.

Destructive Mind

Starting from 6th level, you may spend 1 sorcery point to steal a specific thought from a creature with the ability to think for themselves, by having them take a wisdom save against your spell casting DC, which if they fail, you steal that thought / memory from the creature. They automatically succeed the save if they also possess psychic powers.

You also gain a +1 bonus to Wisdom and Charisma.

Consciousness Devourer

Starting at 14th level, you have mastered the way of the mind such that you know all of the intricacies of how the mind works. Once per long rest, you may take the Devour Mind action. Touch a creature. They must succeed a wisdom saving throw against your spellcasting DC. If they succeed, the action fails and the creature is unaffected. If they fail, they must repeat the save at the start of each of their turns, similar to Death Saving Throws. If the creature is attacked by the caster's allies, the action fails. If the creature fails the save two more times, their wisdom and intelligence scores are permanently dropped to 1. This effect can be removed with a greater restoration spell or something with similar effects. The caster also absorbs their mind, gaining their wisdom and intelligence modifiers added as a bonus to their total wisdom and intelligence. This effect requires one sorcery point to maintain for each mind that has been absorbed into the caster. If the original creature dies or their mind is restored, the bonus is removed and they are refunded their sorcery point. Creatures under the effect cannot kill themselves unless the caster specifically tells them to.

Psionic Mastery

Starting at 18th level, you no longer require sorcery points to maintain the minds from Consciousness Devourer, and you can cast Suggestion as a reaction at the start of any creature's turn using a sorcery point without the spell slot or material components. You are also immune to psychic damage.
