Base Class: Rogue
Portal cutters can cut portals in the fabric of reality to bypass space.
Playing with portals
You gain a number of portal charges equal to your proficiency bonus +1 per short rest.
You can expend a charge to create a portal 8" in diameter.
The first side of the portal can be cut into the air within 5ft from you while the other side can be up to a range of 30ft and at any orientation.
Portals last long enough for you to interact through or attack through before closing up and pushing any objects half inside the portal bounds to the nearest side.
When you attack through a portal you can apply sneak attack as the creature cannot predict where your portals will appear.
Attacking through a portal does not reveal you if you are hiding.
You can interact through a portal quickly using any normal actions such as pickpocketing, grabbing or dropping objects, pulling levers and can even see, hear and smell through them.
Reacting with Portals
As a reaction to being attacked with a targeted attack you can expend a portal charge and have the attack be intercepted by a portal. The attack can be moved to anywhere within your inter-portal range. You can have the attack hit the attacking creature if within range, another target or just have the attack moved I to the air hitting nothing.
Portal Diver
Your portals can be up to 2ft in diameter, the inter-portal range is now 40ft and at the cost of 10ft of movement you can create and then dive through a portal once per turn.
Portal diving still triggers attacks of opportunity but at disadvantage.
You also gain 1 additional Portal charge.
Portal Control
Portals you create can remain open until the end of your turn and you can have up to 2 portals active at any one time.
Your portals can be up to 5ft in diameter allowing you to travel more easily though them reducing your movement cost to 5ft to dice through to the other side of a portal.
You can create portals beneath creature feet to have them fall through. Unwilling creatures must make Dexterity Saving throws to avoid falling through the portal.
Portal Perfection
Your inter-portal range is now 60ft.
Once per turn when you attack through a portal you can use your bonus action to make another attack through the same portal
When you create portals you can one side of the portal be invisible. The first attack through a portal with an invisible side has advantage.
