The life of a follower is not to be taken lightly, for your every day is about protecting those who need protection, without regards to yourself. One must be on constant vigil, although the oaths taken by paladins are stricter, the goal of every warlock of Helm is to protect what needs protecting.

Block

Starting at 1st level, you can spend a reaction to extend your shield, transferring half the damage that an ally would take to you. This requires a shield or something else that can be used to block. it is an automatic hit on you despite your armor class.

Divine Shield

Starting at 6th level, you can summon an energy shield around you. This halves all damage for one minute done to you, and increases your armor class by 2.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Helm's Favor

Starting at 10th level, you can choose one damage type when you finish a short or long rest. You gain resistance to that damage type until you choose a different one with this feature. Damage from magical weapons ignores this resistance.

Imprison

Starting at 14th level, you can use your action to imprison your foes in a magical steel cage. The cage can be up to six feet wide and 8 feet tall, and can contain more than one enemy if they are close enough together. The cage has 30 hitpoints.

The cage's magical force is focused in, so attacks from the outside deal triple damage. The magical field also allows those outside to attack the cage's occupants, but those inside cannot attack anybody outside.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
