Base Class: Barbarian
The dragon beckons, it has awakened.
Within you dwells the soul of a dragon, a soul which has now begun to wake itself up. This immense power within you threatens to overtake you and consume you from the inside out, but until it does you will be able to harness it to your advantage. Incredible fortitude, immense strength, unquenchable ferocity; these are what the soul offers as bargain for your form. If you accept these promises, you will not be dissapointed, until the soul decides to take over and enact its own will on the world.
Draconic Fortitude
When you choose this path and begin awakening the soul at 3rd level, your hit point maximum increases by 6. Whenever you gain a level hereafter, your hit point maximum increases by an additional 2 hit points.
Draconic Rage
Starting at 3rd level, the soul within becomes enraged when you do, a situation that grants you more power but threatens to overpower you.
When you enter your rage on your turn, you can choose one of the following damage types; Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, Poison.
While raging, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you deal additional damage equal to your proficiency bonus of the damage type chosen when you entered your rage. This damage is doubled on a critical hit.
Draconic Lust. If you begin your turn with no more than half of your maximum hit points, you must succeed on a DC 8 Wisdom saving throw or move directly towards the nearest creature to you and use the Attack action against that creature. You can choose whether or not to use your Extra Attack feature for this frenzied attack. If there is more than one possible target, roll to randomly determine the target. You then regain control for the remainder of your turn.
Draconic Resistance
Starting at 6th level, the power of the soul now protects you from its own affinities.
While you are raging, you gain resistance to the damage type you chose through your Draconic Rage feature.
Draconic Immunity. When you take damage and are resistant to the damage type, you can use your reaction to grant yourself immunity to that damage type until the start of your next turn, including to the triggering damage. You can use this ability once per rage.
Draconic Scales
Starting at 10th level, the soul has begun to influence your body and mind, hardening it and strengthening it.
While raging, you gain a +2 bonus to your AC. Additionally, you are immune to the frightened and charmed conditions while raging.
If you are subjected to an effect, that you are aware of, that causes you to be frightened or charmed, you can use your reaction to immediately enter a rage. This immediately ends the effect of the frightened or charmed condition.
Draconic Soul
Starting at 14th level, your soul and the dragon's have become entwined almost completely, resulting in ferocious power.
While you are raging, your melee weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
When you hit a creature with an attack, you can ignore resistances to the damage type chosen for your Draconic Rage feature.
Imposing Presence. When a creature hits you with an attack while you are raging, you can force them to succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the start of their next turn. The DC for this equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength modifier, regaining all expended uses at the end of a short or long rest.
