Monks of the Way of Insight use their meditation and training to open their Third Eye. This ability allows these monks to see what our normal eyes cannot, even seeing a few moments into the future.

Monks of this tradition may sometimes seem detached or aloof, but often they are actually observing something beyond our mundane senses.

Opening the Third Eye

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your Third Eye opens giving you great insight. Choose either Insight or Perception. You gain proficiency in the skill you chose.

As a bonus action, you may spend 1 ki point to open your Third Eye for 1 hour or until you choose to close it. While it is open, you have advantage on all Wisdom checks and saves.

Great Insight

Your Third Eye gives you great insight into people's behaviors and feelings. You gain proficiency in the Insight skill.

Great Perception

Your Third Eye allows you to take in all around you. You gain proficiency in the Perception skill.

Tactical Vision

At 3rd level, your Third Eye allows you to predict your opponents moves. While your Third Eye is open, you can use a bonus action to give yourself advantage on all attacks you make until the beginning of your next turn.

Foresight

You must have your Third eye open to use this ability.

Once each turn, when you are hit with an attack, or fail a saving throw, you can use your reaction to force a reroll. You choose which result to use.

You can use this ability after you know the result of your roll but before any effects happen.

Deeper Vision

By 11th level, your Third Eye has allowed you to peer deeper into those around you. You gain expertise in the skill you chose for Opening the Third Eye. (Expertise allows you to apply double your proficiency to this skill.)

Greater Insight

Your understanding of people has grown to superhuman levels. You gain expertise in the Insight skill.

Greater Perception

Your powers of observation have grown to superhuman levels. You gain expertise in the Perception.

Sight Beyond Sight

By 11th level, your Third Eye can show you more than your mundane eyes, including things that are invisible or hidden.

While your Third Eye is open, you can spend 2 ki points to cast clairvoyance without material components.

The True Sight

At 17th level, your Third Eye allows you to see all things for what they truly are. Your Third Eye is open at all times. You may choose to close it for a period of time.

While your Third Eye is open, you can spend 3 ki points to have truesight out to a range of 60 feet for up to one hour. This ability will also end when your Third Eye closes.
