Base Class: Barbarian
You have been gifted with the power of the storm, capable of calling down massive strikes of thunder and lightning.
Storm Aura
Starting at 3rd level, you emanate a stormy, magical aura while you rage. The aura extends 10 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover.
Your aura has an effect that activates when you enter your rage, and you can activate the effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action. When activated, one creature of your choice in your aura takes lightning damage (DEX DC {{savedc:con}}, half damage on success) based on your level: [3rd] 1d6, [6th] 2d6, [9th] 3d6, [12th] 4d6, [15th] 5d6, and [18th] 6d6.
In addition, as a bonus action, you can choose to cloak a weapon with the lightning energy of your Storm Aura. While your weapon is cloaked in this way, the first attack that you hit with on your turn deals additional lightning damage equal to the damage of your Storm Aura feature. You cannot do this on the turn you activate the aura, and you cannot use it underwater.
When your aura’s effects require a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.
Typhoon Vestige
Hurricane's Embrace
At 10th level, you learn to use your mastery of the storm to protect others. Each creature of your choice has the damage resistance you gained from the Storm Soul feature while the creature is in your Storm Aura. The range of your Storm Aura also increases to 30 feet.
As an action, while your aura is active, you can choose one target that you can see within 30 feet, and cause high-voltage electricity to arc towards it. That creature must make a Constitution saving throw, or take lightning damage equal to your Constitution modifier. If a target affected by this damage has resistance to lightning damage, then they are treated as if they do not for 1 minute. You can do this a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier, and regain all expended uses upon taking a long rest.
Stormchaser
At 14th level, the power of the storm you channel grows mightier, lashing out at your foes. The range of your Storm Aura increases to 40 feet.
When you hit a creature in your aura with an attack, you can use your reaction to force that creature to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is knocked prone, as if struck by a wave. Once a creature has been affected by this ability once, they have advantage on all saving throws against it for the next 24 hours.
When you deal full damage to a creature with your Storm Aura effect (this includes resistance), you can use your reaction to force that creature to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is Stunned until the end of their next turn. Once a creature has been affected by this ability once, they have advantage on all saving throws against it for the next 24 hours.
