Base Class: Druid

Druids of the circle of streets, sometimes called city druids, excel in modern and civilized environments. While these druids respect the traditions of old, they have adapted to a more modern lifestyle. They blend in with the urchins and merchants that populate the city streets. They blend into crowds, and draw on social prowess to charge their magic. 

Modern Accommodations

When you choose this circle at second level, you gain the ability to wear armor made of metal, and you have proficiency in medium armor. Additionally, you gain proficiency in Thieves Cant, and can not get lost while inside a city.

Circle Spells

At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level, you gain access to the following circle spells. These spells are always prepared and do not count against the number of spells you can prepare per day.

Easy Access

Beginning at 6th level, you gain proficiency in thieve’s tools. You can expend a spell slot of 2nd level or higher to gain the following effects for the next minute, or until you take damage.

You can pass through wooden doors as if they were difficult terrain, but without opening them.

Your base movement speed increases by 15 feet while traveling over stone.

You have advantage on charisma saves and checks, and gain proficiency in intimidation, deception, and persuasion.

You can use this ability once until you finish a long rest. Your number of uses increases to 2 at 14th level and 3 at 18th.

Language of the Streets

Beginning at 10th level, when in a city or town, you benefit from the following effects.

If a city dwelling animal (such as a pest or pet) or friendly criminal is aware of your presence, within 120 feet of you, and you can see them, you can not be surprised while in the city.

If you wild shape into a common animal such as a rat or housecat, all city dwelling animals you encounter treat you as a friend and want to assist you.

Attacks made on surprised enemies in the first round of combat deal an additional 2d6 damage.

Sky Map

Beginning at 14th level, your understanding of the streets is enhanced by your magic. You may use your action and expend a spell slot to learn the following information in a range of 1 mile.

How many town guard (or equivalent) are present, and their approximate locations (To an accuracy of 15 ft).

How many friendly criminals are present, and their approximate locations.

What type of city dwelling animals are present, and their numbers.

Whether or not a door that you can see is locked, indicated by a color glow visible only to you for the next minute.
