Base Class: Blood Hunter
This is a custom subclass created by Robyn, based on the psychic and physical capabilities of the Varicose Puppeteer (an Other which pulls the veins from the bodies of its victims to use them as puppets. Charming, I know). Full details are scarce, as much of it comes with context.
Dancing to Your Own Tune
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.
Additionally, you gain access to the Vicious Mockery cantrip. When the target fails its saving throw against Vicious Mockery, you may move them up to 5 ft. in a direction of your choice.
Othertouched Familiarity
You have an unnatural familiarity with beings of unnatural and extraplanar origin. Add Aberrations to the list of creature types on which you have advantage on Wisdom and Intelligence rolls to track or recall knowledge about. Additionally, you can speak and understand Deep Speech.
Troupe Leader
If you do not already have the Blood Curse of the Fallen Puppet, you procure it. Instead of its usual effects, Blood Curse of the Fallen Puppet has the following effects:
When a creature you can see within 30 feet drops to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to make that creature rise as a corpse that acts at the end of your turn. Corpses raised this way have 1 HP, suffer a -2 penalty to their AC, can only use the attack action, and lose any extra attacks. The corpse will die if losing its 1 HP, or after 1 minute.
Amplify. You can immediately move the cursed creature up to half their speed, and you grant a bonus to the cursed creature’s attack roll equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1). The damage dealt by your hemocraft die is added to the cursed creature's HP.
A Tug of the Strings
Upon reaching 7th level, you gain one use of Suggestion per Short Rest.
Corpses controlled by your Blood Curse of the Fallen Puppet may now attack immediately after you attack, and keep a quarter of their maximum HP when raised. Additionally, you gain one additional use of Blood Maledict that can only be used to cast Blood Curse of the Fallen Puppet.
A Troupe's Will
Beginning at 11th level, you can draw on the fetid blood of the Fallen Puppets raised to your will. Whenever you roll a Hemocraft die of damage against yourself, either to amplify a Blood Curse or to activate a Crimson Rite, you may choose to instead roll 3 Hemocraft dice of damage to an active corpse raised by Blood Curse of the Fallen Puppet.
Audience Participation
At 15th level, you’ve honed your hemocraft to bind and bend your foes as puppets to your influence. You gain the Blood Curse of the Irresistible Dance for your Blood Maledict feature. This doesn’t count against your number of blood curses known.
Blood Curse of the Irresistible Dance: As an action, strings of sanguine energy descend sourcelessly to bind into your foes. All enemies within 30 ft. must make a Charisma saving throw or become charmed by the effects of this spell, dominated by your puppeteering influence. On their next turns, they try to rip and rend each other apart to the best of their abilities, turning on their allies with vicious abandon.
Amplify. The range of this curse is increased to 60 ft.
Troupe's Vitae
Upon reaching 18th level, you learn to protect your fading life by absorbing the vitae of your thralls. When you are reduced to 0 hit points (but not killed outright), if you have an active Fallen Puppet, you drop to 1 hit point instead, and the Fallen Puppet dies. If multiple Fallen Puppets are active, you choose which one to sacrifice.
