Base Class: Sorcerer
Perhaps you were born in the time of plague. Maybe you were afflicted by a mysterious disease that brought you to the brink of death only to disappear as soon as it came. Either way, you have learned of your control over plagues and Blight.
An aspect of plague has melded with your being, granting you infectious powers. Where you go, disease follows. You control the powers of rot and decay, but also the growth of life and change.
Additional Spells
1st-level Plagueborn feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Additional Spells list table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Bearer of Disease
1st-level Plagueborn feature
You have resistance to poison damage as well as advantage on saving throws made against becoming poisoned. You are also immune to disease.
At 14th level, you become immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
Ruinous Blight
6th-level Plagueborn feature
Whenever you cast a spell that would cause a creature to become Poisoned, you may spend 2 sorcery points to cause any creature that would be affected by that spell to lose its immunity to the Poisoned condition for the duration.
Whenever you spend sorcery points on a spell you cast (such as when you use a metamagic ability) that deals Poison damage, you may change the damage type of that spell to Acid or Necrotic instead.
Wretched Infection
6th-level Plagueborn feature
A creature casting a spell or using an ability to cure or subdue a disease or neutralize a poison caused by a spell you cast must first succeed on an ability check using their Spellcasting ability modifer against your Spell save DC. On a success, the spell resolves as normal. On a failure, the spell fails and the disease or poison cannot be cured until the next dawn or until the spell you cast ends, whichever occurs first. A spell cast of equal or greater level than the spell you cast automatically succeeds.
Contagious Casting
14th-level Plagueborn feature
Whenever a creature under the effects of a spell you cast ends its turn within 5 feet of another creature, you may use your reaction to spend a number of Sorcery points equal to that spell's level. If you do, any number of creatures of your choice within 5 feet of the afflicted creature must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell save DC. If that creature fails its saving throw, it also becomes subject to the effects of the spell for the duration. A creature may choose to fail.
You cannot spend sorcery points this way if the original spell could target multiple creatures.
Beginning at level 18, the range of your Contagious spread grows from 5 feet to 15 feet.
Herald of Corruption
18th-level Plagueborn feature
As an action, an explosion of decay and filth bursts from you. When you take this action, each creature of your choice within 60 feet must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell Save DC. Each creature that fails this saving throw becomes poisoned for 1 minute. Each creature poisoned this way takes 2d8 poison damage at the beginning of each of its turns, has its movement halved for the duration. Creatures that are immune or resistant to poison damage and poisoned condition are still affected by this feature as if they did not have immunity. Non-magical plants in this area automatically fail this constitution saving throw, and magical plants have disadvantage.
This effect lasts for 1 minute. Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 6 sorcery points to use it again.
