What is a Eldritch Monarch?

Once a warlock, you have ascended from the simple restraints of your pacts, and your patron has let you be unleashed. Your power comes directly from the will of your patron as your capabilities are significantly increased. You seek to snuff out you enemies and/or the enemies of your patron at all costs aiming to bring your goals to fruition at almost any cost.

Monarch Mantle

At 1st level, As the Eldritch Monarch, you have an aura of power and authority that emanates from your confidence. Every creature who meets you can recognize the gravity and respect your birthright. You gain the following benefits:

  • You have a proficiency in all armor types, weapon types and shields.
  • You gain the cantrip eldritch blast, and can change it to any other damage type for each beam when applicable.
  • You can perform the somatic components of spells even when you have weapons or a shield in one or both hands.

Ascended Eldritch Pact Magics

At 1st level, you may choose one of the ascended pact boons listed below, additionally your spell slots are considered pact magic slots, and retain all spell slots after a short or long rest.

Pact of The Blade - Armegir

You can use your action to create a pact weapon in your empty hand. You can choose the form that this melee weapon takes each time you create it (see the Weapons section for weapon options). You are proficient with it while you wield it. This weapon counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. You may use your CHA modifier for the weapon instead of its standard modifier.

Your pact weapon disappears if it is more than 5 feet away from you for 1 minute or more. It also disappears if you use this feature again, if you dismiss the weapon (no action required), or if you die. (You gain all Pact of The Blade invocations as described on the warlock class page.)

Additionally, once per long rest, you may conjure 1 weapon of each weapon type that now revolves around you for 1 minute. While in state, you gain the ability to hover and can make three attacks per combat action. You also can phase to a location within 30 feet as a bonus action.

Pact of The Chain - Hell’s Bindings

You learn the find familiar spell and can cast it as a ritual. The spell doesn’t count against your number of spells known.

When you cast the spell, you can choose one of the normal forms for your familiar or one of the following special forms: imp, pseudodragon, quasit, or a creature of CR 1.

Additionally, your familiar takes its turn after yours on initiative. (You gain all Pact of The Chain invocations as described on the Warlock class page.)

Pact of The Tome - Grimlore’s Grimoire

You gain access to ancient magics from a grimoire of old granting you increased spell strength. No other caster can use the magics you know and any wizard that would attempt to read your Grimoire must make a WIS saving throw at disadvantage again your spell save DC. If they fail, they are stricken with long term madness from the long term madness table. (You gain all Pact of The Tome invocations as described on the warlock class page.)

Eldritch Soul

At 6th level, Your power radiates from you like a aura. You emit a blackish purple aura that can bring even the strongest foes to their knees.

As a bonus action, You gain a physical aura of 15 feet, all creatures that would come into aura must make a spell save against it (Your Choice of what kind of save it is.) should they fail, based on the save you may depict how it would effect them so long as it would leave them incapacitated for 1 minute. If that creature is attacked within the one minute after being incapacitated it is freed from this effect and is immune to the effect for 24 hours.

Additionally, your strengthened soul allows you to attune to 6 items instead of 3.

Ascended Eldritch Blast

At 14th level, your eldritch blast cantrip is enhanced beyond normal measure. Your range is increased to 1200, and does additional damage equal to your modifier's from WIS, INT, and CHA. (You gain all eldritch blast invocations from warlock class page. Note: You can decide if it pushes or pulls your target.)

Eldritch Calamity

At 18th level, by expending 8 sorcery points, you can target every enemy creature with 60 feet of you with an eldritch blast! And the damage inflicted bypasses resistances and immunities. If there is only one creature, that creature is a target of that many eldritch blasts equal to your proficiency bonus.

You can only do this once per long rest.
