Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who follow the path of the Dualist learn to harness their rage in order to amplify their agility. This agility allows them to dual wield far more effectively than any simple warrior, able to attack quicker, block blows at incredible speed, and even able to evade them entirely.
Dual Weapon Fighting
When you choose this path at 3rd level, you learn to embrace the two-weapon method of fighting.
When you take the Attack Action and Attack with a melee weapon that you’re holding in one hand, you can use a Bonus Action to Attack with a different melee weapon that you’re holding in the other hand, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second Attack.
. You can use this feature even when the one handed melee weapons you are wielding aren’t light. You can also draw or stow two one-handed weapons when you would normally be able to draw or stow only one.
If either weapon has the Thrown property, you can throw the weapon, instead of making a melee Attack with it.”
Unrivaled Defense
Starting at 6th level, When you are hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to gain a +3 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn, including against the triggering attack.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency modifier. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Quick Reflexes
Your rage has sharpened your reflexes allowing you to attack quicker and evade incoming attacks.
Beginning at 10th level, while raging you can now attack twice, instead of once, when you use your Bonus Action to attack with a melee weapon.
You also gain the ability, while raging, to take the Dodge action as a Bonus Action instead of attacking.
Relentless
Beginning at 14th level, you can’t be stunned or restrained while raging. If you are stunned you can still use a bonus action to enter your rage and end the effect.
