Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

In the path of a sorcerer lies the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the elemental foundations of the world. Those who grasp this chance and master the three core elements of Fyr, Kal and Oth are to become masters of a whole different way to practice the Arcane. Going under the name of "Spellforger", these masters of fire, cold and lightning can bring forth spells with unprecedented ingenuity.

Fyr, Kal and Oth

At 1st level, you gain access to three arcane orbs of magical essence which you may attune to one of three elements.

You may only have three essences active at any point in time, focusing on another requires you to dismiss one of a different arcane element.

Lightning (Intelligence)

Each focused essence grants a bonus point  to the distinct attributes associated with them, as well as being the foundation of the "Forge Elements" feature where the Spellforger may utilize sorcery points to shift the spells available to him.

At 1st level you may shift one arcane essence each turn by bonus action or action. At 6th level you may shift two arcane essence each turn and at 14th level you may shift all three arcane essences each turn by using either a bonus action or action.

Forge Elements

At 1st level, you gain access to the "Forge Elements" ability. Either by using ten minutes of time or spending a sorcery point as part of an action, you may shift your available spells according to your currently focused arcane essences. Based on the combination of Fyr, Kal and Oth you get access to a certain range of sorcerer spells from the sorcerer spell table you may use to replace your current active spells.

This does not include cantrips. Spell level requirements still apply.

The table specifies the required combination to access certain schools of magic.

At 14th level, focusing all three arcane orbs to a single element of Fyr, Kal or Oth, grants you an additional attribute point associated with the respective element. This however can not allow you to exceed the limit of 20 points of the respective attribute. Refer to the primary element table for which arcane element affects which attribute.

Hastened Forging

Beginning at 18th level, you can immediately cast any spell available to you after the "Forge Elements" action. This spell can only be one that has not been replaced or that has been swapped in for another by the same "Forge Elements" action.
