Base Class: Barbarian
Clad in a mask, you crush your foes into dust with your beastly arms and you take glorious flight to rain down devastation upon enemies below. And, of course, you do it all for the children.
Mask of Glory
At 3rd Level, You begin to don a larger-than-life persona. This guise is marked as your first step on a path toward glory, victory, myth, and legend. When you enter a rage, it manifests as a mask that is fashioned into a design of your choosing. While wearing this mask, you gain the following benefits:
- If you hit a creature with a least one weapon attack on your turn, your target makes its next saving throw that turn with disadvantage.
- You add a d8 to your Strength checks, including your grapple attempts, and to your attempts at escaping the grappled or restrained conditions.
- A creature grappled by you is also restrained.
The mask fades when your rage ends.
Glorious Techniques
At 3rd Level, Professional Wrestling and the spectacle that comes with it become second-nature to you. You can roll a d6 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strikes, which increases to a d8 if you wield no shield. While you wield no shield, your unarmed strikes are treated as though they are weapon attacks made with a weapon possessing the heavy property.
Additionally, you gain the following benefits:
Glorious Rush. You can use a Bonus Action on your turn to move up to half your walk speed in a straight line without provoking Opportunity Attacks. If you take this action while wearing your "Mask of Glory", you also gain an amount of temporary Hit Points equal to 1d6 + half your Barbarian Level, as part of this action.
Glorious Grapple. You can use a Bonus Action on your turn to grapple a creature within 5 ft. of you. If you take this action while wearing your "Mask of Glory", and your target is already grappled by you, you can either gause your target to become prone or make one unarmed strike against your target, as part of the same action.
Glorious Leap. You can use a Bonus Action on your turn to make an unarmed strike against a creature within 5 ft. of you. On a hit, you kick off of the creature to leap through the air. You move into an unoccupied space within 10 ft. of your target without provoking Opportunity Attacks. If a creature hit by this attack is grappled by you, it will no longer be grappled by you afterwards. If you take this action while wearing your "Mask of Glory", this unarmed strike deals an additional 1d8 bludgeoning damage on a hit if your target is not grappled by you, and an additional 2d8 bludgeoning damage on a hit if it is grappled by you.
Man-Handle Master
At 6th Level, You can bend and contort the limbs of your enemies as if you were a sculptor with slab of clay. The ways in which you artfully and forcefully mold them to your will is a sight to behold. You gain the following benefits while wearing your "Mask of Glory":
Muscles of Might. All bludgeoning damage you inflict through unarmed strikes or through a Barbarian feature is magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage, and your grapple checks ignore immunity to the Grappled condition. Additionally, grappling a creature or object that is Large or smaller will not lower your movement speed.
Meat Shield. You can use a Bonus Action on your turn to prop up a creature you are grappling as if it were a shield. While a creature is propped up in this way, you receive a +2 bonus to your AC. Despite being used as a shield, propping up a creature in this way will not affect your unarmed strikes. Additionally, if an attack or spell made against you misses, the attack/spell then targets the propped creature. If you take damage from an attack or spell, you can use a Reaction to take half the damage, the propped creature taking the other half of the damage (before resistance). Only one creature can be propped up in this way at a time.
Meat Weapon. You can use a Bonus Action on your turn to wield a creature you are grappling as if it were an improvised weapon with which you are proficient. Improvised weapon attacks made by this weapon deal 1d8 bludgeoning damage on a hit and are treated as your unarmed strikes. This improvised weapon has the heavy and thrown properties. The range and damage of this weapon's thrown weapon attack is 20 ft./60 ft. and 2d8 bludgeoning damage, respectively. A creature used as an improvised weapon in this way is dealt an amount of damage equal to half of any damage it deals as an improvised weapon. Only one creature can be wielded in this way at a time.
If you wield a creature as a Meat Shield, you can use a Bonus Action to instead wield it as a Meat Weapon, and vice versa. A creature cannot be a Meat Shield and a Meat Weapon at the same time. You cannot use a creature as a Meat Shield or Meat Weapon if it is incapacitated or dead.
Grandiose Repertoire
At 10th Level, Your ego grows mountainous and bloated, as does your ability to deliver pain. The multitude of ways in which you do so is seemingly endless for you. You gain the following benefits:
Savage Submission. You can force a creature grappled by you to make a Constitution saving throw at the end of your turns. Upon a fail, it takes 1d8 in bludgeoning damage, taking half as much damage on a success. This damage is increased to 2d8 bludgeoning damage while you are wearing your "Mask of Glory". If a creature grappled by you is also prone and manages to break free from your grapple on its turn, its walk speed remains 0 until the start of its next turn.
Colossal Crash. During the movement of your "Glorious Rush" action, you can use an Action to make an unarmed strike with advantage against one creature of your choosing that you walk past. On a hit, a creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. Upon a fail, a creature is dealt an additional 4d8 bludgeoning damage, is forcibly shoved up to 15 ft. away, and is stunned until the end of your next turn. A creature in the way of your target's forced movement must also make this Dexterity saving throw, but will not be forcibly shoved or stunned upon a fail. Upon a success, a creature takes half as much damage. If you take this action while wearing your "Mask of Glory", a result of 19 or higher on the attack roll is treated as a roll of 20.
You can do so up to an amount of times per long rest equal to your Proficiency bonus.
Bone-break Buster. Immediately after taking your "Glorious Grapple" action, you can use an Action to make an unarmed strike with advantage against a creature that is grappled by you. On a hit, you slam the creature into the ground, causing it to make a Strength saving throw. Upon a fail, a creature is dealt an additional 4d8 bludgeoning damage, is knocked prone, and is stunned until the end of your next turn. Upon a success, a creature takes half as much damage and is not made prone or stunned. Regardless of fail or success, the targeted creature is no longer grappled by you. If you take this action while wearing your "Mask of Glory", a result of 19 or higher on the attack roll is treated as a roll of 20.
You can do so up to an amount of times per long rest equal to your Proficiency bonus.
Phenomenal Flight. Immediately after taking and completing your "Glorious Leap" action, you can use an Action to make an unarmed strike with advantage against a creature within 5 ft. of you. On a hit, you deal an additional 4d8 bludgeoning damage and you attempt to grapple the targeted creature as part of your unarmed strike. If you successfully grapple a creature in this way, it falls prone, and is stunned until the end of your next turn. If you take this action while wearing your "Mask of Glory", a result of 19 or higher on the attack roll is treated as a roll of 20.
You can do so up to an amount of times per long rest equal to your Proficiency bonus.
The DC of saving throws imposed by these benefits is equal to 8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus.
Signature Slam
At 14th Level, You can execute, with all of your glorious might, devastating finishing techniques that you and you alone have come to master. If you are wearing your "Mask of Glory" and you take either the "Colossal Crash," "Bone-Break Buster," or "Phenomenal Flight" action in order to make an unarmed strike, you can amplify the attack. If an attack is amplified in this way, a result of 18 or higher on the attack roll is treated as a roll of 20, and it further deals an additional 6d8 bludgeoning damage on a hit, totaling to 10d8. A creature hit by this amplified attack must make a Constitution saving throw. Upon a fail, it becomes paralyzed for one minute. While paralyzed in this way, the creature must make and succeed a Constitution saving throw at the start of its turns in order to break free from the paralyzed condition. Upon a fail, it remains paralyzed and is dealt 5d8 psychic damage.
The DC of saving throws imposed by this feature is equal to 8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus.
You can use this feature once per long rest.
