Base Class: Bard

Bards that follow the visual arts will most likely study under the college of creativity, through the influence of pigments your bardic magic is about using different colors to your advantage. Different pigments can have different effects on the battle field that differentiate based on the color, some can heal allays wile others can be extremely deadly.

Artist view

Once you pick this college you gain an artist's understanding of the world. You gain proficiency in perception and once per day you can use 1d6 on any ability check, this ability comes back after a long rest. this upgrades to twice per day at 6th level and then at 14th level it turns into 1d8 and can be used 3 times per day.  

Acrylic area

Once you reach 3rd level you gain a proficiency with painters tools, using them you have the ability to spend a baric inspiration to place a 10 - 10 circle of magical paint in color of your choice. The color you paint results in a different effect, if something begins or ends its turn in the ink reacts doing something to the creature or ally, the color differs the effect. If a allay starts or ends there turn within the colored area they gain baric inspiration. You can put the color any area that is 10 feet away from you this range increases. To keep a already made acrylic area painted, at the start of your turn you have to make a charisma save (DC is 12+ 2 times how many rounds its been) if you want to make an acrylic area outside of combat then you can count it as a concertation spell, the maximum time being 1 hour. You can make as many color pools as haft of your proficiency bonus rounded down.

The following colors are available to you at your current level, you get access to more powerful colors at later levels. 

Red

If a creature starts or ends there turn within a acrylic area that is colored red, the paint begins to bubble with extreme heat. The creature must make a con save against your spell save DC, if failed then the creature take 2d8, if successful they take half the damage

Blue

If a creature starts or ends their turn within an acrylic area that is colored blue a freezing cold freezes their lower body. The creature takes 2d6 cold damage and the creature must make a con save against your spell save DC, if failed there speed is hafted.

Yellow

If a creature starts or ends their turn within an acrylic area that is colored yellow the ink begins coursing with electrical power. The creature takes 2d4 lighting damage and they must make a con save against your spell save DC, if failed the creature is knocked prone.

Ink upgrade

At 6th level your skills in paint and artistry has upgraded your acrylic area to include more colors. The area you can cover is now 15 -15 and now include the colors green, orange, and violet. It also extends the reach of the colored area, if any creature is at lest 15 feet above the pool they get attacked by the color effect.

Green

If a creature starts or ends their turn within an acrylic area that is colored green the ink begins forming into sharp spikes. The creature must make a con save against your spell save DC, if failed the creature takes 1d6 piercing and 2d8 poison damage and is poisoned, if successful they take full damage but are not poisoned.

Orange

If a creature starts or ends their turn within an acrylic area that is colored orange, violent waves make large crashing waves only susceptible to the enemy. The creature must make a wis save against your spell save DC, if failed the creature is incapacitated, deafened and takes 2d10 thunder.

Violet

If a creature starts or ends their turn within an acrylic area that is colored violet the pool begins moving in hypnotic waves.  The creature must make an int save against your spell save DC, if failed the creature is charmed and takes 4d4 physic damage, if successful, they are not charmed and take half damage.

Painters evolution

At 14th level your skills with paint has made you be able to used the color black and white. along with this your Acrylic areas grow to 20 - 20 and when you are standing in your own paint you gain a bonus +3 to your AC.

Black

If a creature starts or ends their turn within at least 20ft above an acrylic area that is colored black, inky black tentacles attempt to drag the creature into the pool. The creature must make a dex save against your spell save DC, if fail the creature is now restrained and takes 2d6 necrotic damage on every start of its turns. Once its turn the creature can make a int save against your spell save DC to attempt to no longer be restrained.

White

If an allay starts or ends their turn within an acrylic area that is colored white then they heal 1d8 healing. If an enemy starts or ends their turn within the acrylic area then they take 2d10 radiant damage.
