Base Class: Barbarian
The Daredevil relishes in danger, actively seeking it out. Putting themselves in the path of harm is where they are most effective, where they feel the most alive. It is not enough that an enemy dies, the Path of the Daredevil must feel the rush that danger brings.
Daredevil's Rage
When you take this path at 3rd level, you learn to make the most of terrible situations. While raging, when you make an attack roll with disadvantage, you score double damage if you hit.
Additionally, throwing yourself into harm's way gives you an edge in battle. While you are raging, if an enemy makes an attack roll against a friendly creature other than yourself, you may use your reaction to move up to half your speed. When you do this, you must move to the friendly creature that is being attacked. You may move into the friendly creature's space, moving them five feet in any direction, which does not provoke attacks of opportunity. The triggering attack automatically hits you. If you do this, you deal double damage on any attacks you make against that enemy in the next round.
Is That Your Best Shot?
At 6th level, you have learned to suppress your instincts to get the biggest thrill from every challenge. You may forego your Danger Sense benefit when making a Dexterity saving throw. If you do, you gain resistance to the damage type of the triggering effect for the next minute. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier per long rest.
Scarred Visage
At 10th level, your body is a record of the pain you have willingly taken, with scars covering your body. You gain proficiency in Intimidation, and you may double your proficiency modifier whenever you make and Intimidation check.
Darkness, My Old Friend
At 14th level, the brink of death is something you have experienced countless times, and you know just how to snap out of it. If your rage is ended by dropping to zero hit points, you have advantage on death saving throws until you stabilize.
