The Order of the Dragonslayer is an old and proud order, using their blood magic to fight back against the tyranny of dragons. Dragonslayers seek to amass any knowledge, magic items, or alliances that could give them any advantage over their ancient foes. Some fill libraries with tomes and trinkets for academic study. Others will hire themselves out as mercenaries to protect common folk in exchange for a bit of fame and fortune. Few even take to hunting out dragons in their own lairs to claim their horde and their hide.

Rite of the Dragon

When you join this order at 3rd level, you learn the esoteric rite Rite of the Dragon (detailed below). Choose one type of dragon from the Dragon Rites table. You cannot change this choice.

Rite of the Dragon. Your rite damage is determined by the dragon type, as shown in the table.

If you hit a dragon type creature with your Rite of the Dragon, it suffers additional rite damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Upon reaching 11th level, any creature you hit with your Rite of the Dragon suffers this additional damage.

Know Your Enemy

When you join this order at 3rd level, you learn about the physiology and habits of dragons. You can speak, read, and write Draconic. Additionally, your proficiency bonus is doubled whenever you make an Intelligence check to recall information about dragons or you make a Wisdom check when interacting with dragons.

Menacing Fury

Beginning at 7th level, your boiling blood causes you to radiate menace when angered. You can use your action to roar, forcing each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). A target automatically succeeds on the save if it can’t hear or see you. On a failed save, a target becomes frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

After you use your menacing roar, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.

Take the Sky

Upon reaching 11th level, you can take the fight to the dragon while it is flying. You gain the ability to manifest a pair of wings from your back, gaining a flying speed equal to your current speed. You can create these wings as a bonus action on your turn. They last for 1 minute or until you dismiss them as a bonus action on your turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Hunter’s Eyes

At 15th level, you can more easily hunt a dragon in its lair. You gain an additional 30 feet of [Tooltip Not Found], as well as [Tooltip Not Found]up to 30 feet.

Tooth and Nail

Upon reaching 18th level, you can fight a dragon as equals. As an action, you can alter the very fabric of your being to transform into your Dragon form. Your appearance changes to be more like the dragon chosen during your Rite of the Dragon. Your size does not change. You can speak, use equipment, and wear armor in this form as normal. This form lasts for 1 minute. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using an action on your turn. You automatically revert to your normal form if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die.

You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest. While you are transformed, you gain the following features:

Multiattack. You can attack three times, instead of twice, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Damage Immunity. You have immunity to the same elemental damage type as your Rite of the Dragon.

Breath Weapon. You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your Rite of the Dragon determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation.

When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your Rite of the Dragon. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 10d10 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one.

You can use your breath weapon once. You regain all one use of your breath weapon when you transform into your Dragon form.
