Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Rising Soul have trained for many years mastering their soul and mind. In their training they have discovered how to invoke the power of their soul.

Invocation of the Soul

Starting at 3rd level, as a bonus action you can invoke the power of your soul for 1 minute. While you empower your form you can add your wisdom modifier to your attack roles and a +2 bonus to your armor class.

You can use this feature once per long rest, once you do so you can expend 1 ki point to activate it again, once you do so the cost goes up by one ki point everytime it is used, this resets at the end of a long rest.

Heightened Movement

Starting at 6th level, when your Invocation of the Soul is active you gain an additional 20ft to your movement speed and you have advantage on dexterity saving throws and ability checks.

Perception of the Soul

Starting at 11th level, you gain advantage on perception checks, you gain a +5 bonus to perception checks and you cannot be suprised. Additionally while your Invocation of the Soul is active creatures have disadvantage to hit you.

Soul Rending Strikes

Starting at 17th level, whenever you make an unarmed strike you can expend 3 ki points to deal an additional 7d10 force damage and if the creature is reduced to half it's maximum hit points it must make a constitution saving throw, on a failed save the target instantly dies and has it's soul shattered. Additionally while your Invocation of the Soul is active you may add your wisdom modifier to damage rolls of your unarmed strikes.

When a creatures soul is shatter they can only be returned to life by a wish spell, attempting to do so you roll a d20, on a 20 the creature is revived, rolling a 19 or lower the check fails and this can never be attempted again.
