Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Gunsmith fighters are masters of firearms and explosives. They use their superior knowledge of said weapons to gain an advantage in combat, and to get themselves out of sticky situations, perhaps even without firing a single bullet. Gunsmiths can be found wherever there are firearms, and use their abilities for different reasons. Either way, their skill in combat is unmatched.

Explosive skill

Starting at 3rd level when you choose this subclass, you may use a bonus action to reload a firearm or activate an explosive. This bonus action takes the place of an action required to perform the desired task. If a firearm must be reloaded multiple times, the bonus action only counts as one of those times.

Master negotiator

Starting at 3rd level, your firearm can be used to gain the upper hand in social situations. While holding a firearm in your hand, you have advantage on all intimidation checks.

Controlled chaos

Starting at 7th level, your skill with explosives has increased so much that you are able to maneuver the blast in such a way that allows it to miss targets of your choice. When an explosion that you activated detonates, you may choose a number of targets equal to your proficiency bonus. Those targets take no damage from the blast.

Dead eye

At 7th level, your accuracy has increased so much that you are able to make an attack past your weapons normal range without disadvantage as long as you are wielding a firearm.

Rapid reaload

At 15th level, you can reload your weapon at an unmatched rate. At the beginning of your turn, the firearm that you are wielding (your choice if there are multiple), reloads. If it must be reloaded multiple times, this counts as one of those times.
