Base Class: Sorcerer
While many sorcerers draw their innate magic from natural sources of power, like weather disasters or draconic ancestors, you take that power directly from the Weave, the universal source of all magic.
Source Magic
You draw your magic directly from the Weave itself. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that deals damage, you can cast that spell in its purest form. If you do so, all damage you deal with that spell becomes force damage, and the damage you deal increases by an amount equal to your Charisma modifier. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and you regain expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Innate Esotericism
Rather than spend years studying the Weave and its intricacies, you can simply draw your answers from the Weave itself. You gain proficiency in Arcana, and you double your proficiency bonus when you make a check that uses that proficiency. In addition, when you make an Intelligence (Arcana) check, you can use your Charisma modifier instead of Intelligence.
Born from the Weave
Your pure, unrefined access to the Weave grants you greater control over the spells you cast. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain one additional Metamagic option of your choice.
- The number of sorcery points you have increases by 2.
- You become resistant to force damage.
- When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you can use two Metamagic options on that spell, even if neither Metamagic option would allow you to do so otherwise. Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Arcane Eruption
When you refine the raw magic of the Weave into malleable spell slots and vice versa, you can use the leftover magic to create a blast of magic that emanates outwards from you. Whenever you transform sorcery points into a spell slot or a spell slot into sorcery points, you can deal force damage to each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you equal to the level of the spell slot you created or expended.
Absorptive Interference
Your intimate knowledge of the Weave means that you can effectively and efficiently break down spells, allowing you to siphon off the dredges of extra magic that would have otherwise dissipated back into the Weave. When you successfully cast Counterspell or Dispel Magic, you can choose to gain a number of sorcery points equal to the level of the spell you countered or dispelled. Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
One with the Weave
You have spent so much time so close to the Weave that your body has become completely suffused by its power. You gain the following benefits:
- You no longer require food, drink, or sleep, and can’t be forced to sleep by any means. To gain the benefits of a long rest, you can spend all 8 hours doing light activity.
- You become immune to force damage.
- You gain another Metamagic option of your choice.
- The number of sorcery points you have increases by a further 2.
- You can add your Charisma modifier to any Constitution saving throws you make to maintain concentration.
