Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

Initiation into the Order of the Stitches is done by connecting oneself to the afterlife, literally. Given the test of the Stitches, one comes to face death to come to the understanding of death's hold on life. Death is merely another turning point in one's potential, especially when gifted from Death themself. Once a tool of the guide to the afterlife, the Soul Threads allow a scholar of creation to sew life back into those who had fallen before them and even themselves using ancient hemocraft. The goal is to utilize the waste of battles, soldiers are still soldiers even in death to snuff out the wicked before being laid to rest. Armed with ancient rites of weavers long past where rigorous studying of both human and non-human anatomy is done, a doctor of The Order of the Stitches seeks to defeat the evil beings of the night by turning their own forces against them.

Soul Thread

When you join this Order your senses are fundamentally changed to be able to sense the threads of the soul that bind together a creature's being. Your Hunter's Bane allows you to gaze past the various systems of the body and see the Soul Threads that hide deep within. You gain advantage on Wisdom (Medicine) checks to fey, fiends, or undead to pinpoint remnants of the creature's Soul Thread. Which you then can take 1 minute to amputate and isolate the Soul Thread at the cost of one Blood Maledict slot as you use your hemocraft magic to preserve the body part of which the Soul Thread resides. Upon preservation, the body part will cease to decay for a number equal to a roll on your hemocraft die amount of days. During which you can use it to create your magnificent creations, letting no body nor soul go to waste. This ability grows as the user grows, changing in length of time the body part is preserved by the user's hemocraft die.

Rite of Sutures

Rite of Sutures. your rite damage is magical piercing damage. While the rite is active, you gain the following benefits:

- Your weapon glows a ghostly blue as it connects you to the creature you hit, dealing an extra 1d4 piercing. The damage is magical and increases as you gain levels as a blood hunter, as shown on the Hemocraft Die column of the Bloodhunter table.

- When another creature is hit with this rite, you and the other creature become bonded by your Soul Threads connecting with theirs. As an action, you can use that connection to regain half of the number rolled on a hemocraft die in HP. Dealing the number rolled damage to the connected creature.

- To stay connected, you must make concentration checks adding your intelligence modifier based on half the amount of damage taken (rounded down) to maintain concentration for the sutures.
