Base Class: Sorcerer
Your magic springs from a mystical link between your soul and the magic of elemental earth. You might trace a distant ancestor to the Plane of Earth, or your family might have earned a mighty boon in return for a service to the Dao lords. Whatever your past, the magic of elemental earth is yours to command. Your link to earth magic grants you extraordinary resilience, and stone sorcerers have a natural affinity for combat. A steel blade feels like a natural extension of your body, and sorcerers with this origin have a knack for wielding both shields and weapons. In combat your place is amid the fray. You rely on your elemental nature to shield you from harm and your magic and metal weapons to overwhelm your foes.
Earthen Spells
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Earthen Spells table. If a spell is not a sorcerer spell, it nonetheless is one for you.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a transmutation or a conjuration spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.
At 6th level, you can cast any of your Earthen Spells by expending a number of sorcery points equal to the spells level. When you cast an Earthen Spell in this way you have advantage on Concentration checks to maintain concentration on the spell.
Cantrip: Mold Earth

2nd Level: Maximilian's Earthen Grasp, Spike Growth
3rd Level: Erupting Earth, Wall of Sand
4th Level: Otiluke's Resilient Sphere, Staggering Smite
5th Level: Bigby's Hand (appears as an earthen hand), Transmute Rock
Gift of Earth and Iron
Thanks to your connection with minerals, you gain proficiency with metal shields, medium and heavy armor besides hide, and martial melee weapons except whips.
Rock's Ruggedness
At 1st level, your connection to the earth gives you extra fortitude. Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.
As an action, you can gain a base AC of 13 + your Constitution modifier if you aren’t wearing armor, and your skin assumes a stony appearance. This effect lasts until you end it as a bonus action, you are incapacitated, or you don armor other than a shield.
Earth Aegis
Starting at 6th level, your command of earth magic grows stronger, allowing you to harness it for your allies’ protection.
As a bonus action, you can grant an aegis to one allied creature you can see within 30 feet of you that is standing on solid, earthen ground. The aegis is a dim, gray-brown aura of earth magic that protects the target. This effect lasts for 1 minute, until you use it again, or until you are incapacitated or fall unconscious. While under this effect, a creature gains the following benefits:
- Whenever a protected target take bludgeoning, piercing, slashing, or thunder damage the total is reduced by 3. This reduction increases to 4 at 10th level.
- A protected creature has advantage on ability checks and saving throws to avoid being moved against its will, or being knocked prone. (Such as the Shove action).
In addition, you gain access to the following special reactions. You can use one of these reactions a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses upon finishing a long rest. (These reactions both share the same use pool)
Land's Rebuke. When a creature you can see within 40ft of you makes a melee attack against a creature protected by your Earth Aegis, you may use your reaction to teleport to an unoccupied space within 5ft of the attacker and make one melee weapon attack against them. This attack deals an extra 1d10 force or bludgeoning damage (your choice) if it hits. This damage increases to 2d10 at 11th level and 3d10 at 17th level.
Stone Sentinel. When a creature you can see that is standing on solid earth and is protected by your Earth Aegis is hit by a ranged attack, you may use your reaction to add your Constitution modifier (minimum 1) to their AC for this attack. You do so by calling upon the earth to attempt to intercept this attack.
Stone Synergy
By 14th level you have enhanced your connection to elemental earth. Once on each of your turns when you damage a creature with a spell, you can deal extra force or bludgeoning damage (your choice) equal to your proficiency bonus.
Additionally, the damage reduction of your Earth Aegis increases to 5.
Earth Master's Aegis
Your earth magic has reached its peak. You learn the spells Bones of the Earth and Investiture of Stone. You may cast Investiture of Stone without expending a spell slot once per long rest.
Additionally, when you use your Earth Aegis, you may choose to protect up to 3 allied creatures at once.
